There's a difference between telling someone the unfortunate truth and just being mean. I know Jesus was stern with them, that's not what I'm implying. I'm saying theres a difference:

-heritic: sad truth (I don't believe I am one, but that's not my point)

-curry-eating deamon: Just plain mean, Jesus called names when it was needed, not to simply be rude!


And just for your information, we do NOT worship the saints. We view them as people who have lived good and godly lives and are to be followed as an example. We ask for them to pray for us (because they are closer to god than we are currently), which is another concept entirely. We also don't worship Mary, we view her as the wonderful woman who said yes to God and a powerful, loving saint in heaven who is especially close to God. We do not pray to, we ask for their prayers!

And "stupid women", huh? I don't think Jesus viewed women that way:

"Luke wrote about the mob that herded Jesus toward Golgotha. The "daughters of Jerusalem" followed Him and wept for Him as they made their way down the Via Dolorosa (The Street of Sorrows; Luke 23:27—29)."

"This woman is worth far more than any animal you have. This woman is not an animal; she is a ‘daughter of Abraham’ " (Luke 13:16).

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26) These remarkable words were spoken to a woman!*

I was saying that those specific verses don't work with the proof. It's like using the verse in my signature to prove that Jesus rose from the dead (I'm not saying he didn't, I'm just saying that you're using the wrong verse).

How is a Biblical quote that very clearly and specifically forbids making, praying to, or bowing before idols the 'wrong verse' for proving Catholics are not Christian?

Along with that, I'd like to ask a question of you: Is this really how Baptists behave? Calling people scum and curry-eating demons? Is that what Jesus would call a "lost soul" like us, or would he instead inform us of our faults and treat the sinners with kindness?

OK, you've obviously never read the Bible if you are implying Jesus was nice and polite to sinners.
