I am afraid that I am baffled by your hatred of the LORD JESUS. He is my beautiful, alpha-male Savior and is capable of drop kicking you over the goal post of life, leaving you to go SPLAT somewhere in the end zone of satan. Wouldn't you rather make a touchdown of triumph in the Land of Milk and Honey, that heavenly home our Lord went to prepare for those of us who serve Him without question and trust Him without fail?

Hi .. Welcome to the forum.

I was raised in a religious family in a primarily Presbyterian orthodox in Phoenix Arizona.

I'm not sure what Presbyterian orthodoxy is but it's probably departed some way from The Truth.. ..well now I've looked up Orthodox Presbyterian and read some of the tracts which follow Spurgeon's line to some extent. In one of them I noticed:

“What are people for? What are you for? You are for God. You are his creature. You were made to find meaning in every aspect of your life through him.”

There is a different description of people in The Bible where some are not made to find meaning in every aspect of their lives through Him but instead are made so that they CANNOT find meaning or understanding or even appreciate the words they hear. God even gives the reason. It is so that they will not be converted.

Isaiah 6:9-11 [God speaking] Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate KJV

Now some namby-pamby denominations spout off nonsense about this being a short term arrangement or of purely metaphorical significance. What does God say? Notice the time frame He describes: Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate. Israel has NEVER been depopulated, the land has NOT become desolate. And later on we have John's witness

John 12:37-40 But though [Jesus] had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. KJV

Still in force. These wretched fools cannot believe, cannot find meaning in ANY aspect of their lives through God because God has explicitly MADE THEM THAT WAY. So my question is do you accept the teachings of Presbyterianism or of The Bible? They strike me as being diametrically opposed on this point.

I DO NOT hate Jesus, I simply see science as the real truth.

..but you announce that Jesus was lying. Something else is true instead. Yes that is hateful but your stance embraces the vilest blasphemy too. This idea that Jesus was an idiot or a liar or that He never existed at all is not new.

John 16:13-15 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. KJV

And just like the cake I described you are taking what The Holy Spirit has received from Christ and rubbing it straight back in His face NO (you idiot) I HAVE A DIFFERENT TRUTH you blurt. And laughing at the ignorance of the spirit of truth you cannot understand off you go to your science convention or atheist activist group looking for new sins at every step. You are at war with God!

You call slander and accusations "attention". I am very glad I did not go to your church. My church was open to discussion, obviously this forum is not. It is "Your way or the highway" apparently.

I am not a youngster, I'm 53 years old, and yes I like camping in the wilderness. I appreciate mother nature's magnificence.

I thought I could enter this forum and have some intelligent discussion, you are all rapidly confirming that is not possible.
