    Salam Wa Alaikum (Peace be upon you)

    I am a Muslim who attends Masjid al-Hamza. I am currently unmarried (1 more year of collage) and still a virgin as the Quran says:
    "Those who invoke not with God any other god, nor slay such life as God has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication: and any that does this (not only) meets punishment, but the penalty on the Day of Judgement will be doubled to.him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy. Unless he repents, believes and works righteous deeds, for God will change the evil of such persons into good, and God is Oft-Forgiving Most-Merciful." (Quran 25:68-70)

                      the moon symbol didnt come till the Ottoman empire, which was 100s of years after Prophet Mohammad revealed the Quran. So the moon symbol has nothing to do with the religon it self.

                      Idolatry is strictly forbidden in islam:

                          I will have you know I am an American Citizen, my family can be traced back to around the 1800s in America. I am just as white and as Patriotic as anyone here.

                                  There is only 1 God, and I pray to 1 God. I read that link you sent me, and it is littered with false information, the "moon god" in Arabic is not Allah, its ilah. And if you say that Allah is a false God then your denouncing your own faith, because when translated Allah means God, and in ALL the churches in the middle east, they use Allah, pick up an arabic bible you will see they use the word Allah, becauuse Allah = God in english.

                                  And about the Vatican thats nothing more then a joke, the Quran is almost 100% against all teachings of the Vatican.

                                                          That is a very good question, the Quran only premits self defense. Terrorists often times like to twist things for the evil propoganda, it happens all the time, people falsely attribute violence to God.

                                                          Not all muslims are like this, if you ever meet a muslim in real life, you will most likely see they are just as normal as you and I.
