    An Introduction

I'm new to this forum, and honestly I need some help understanding what exactly God created me as. As far as I can tell, he's given me the abilities to understand His plans for the future and what I read in His Word (especially revelations), and to look into other people's hearts (part of why I really don't like most other people very much). Those gifts hurt so much when God awakened them in me that it felt like my soul itself was burning with power that it shouldn't have, because of the perspective they gave me on everything around me. He also created me as basically 2-in-1. I don't mean like bipolar/multiple personality disorder, but as literally two opposite personas at once, one honorable, coldly calculating and rational, and the other wild, wrathful, and extremely devious. I have the ability to use different aspects of either of those personas anytime I want to.

If anyone has any advice for me, please share it. I'd also like to do whatever I can to become a True Christian and Forum Member.

    Hello L,

Welcome to the forum. Could you define those different traits in a more concise matter? What is ¨coldly calculating and rational¨ and what is ¨wild, wrathful, and extremely devious¨? Please elaborate.

    Kind regards, Roland
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Best wishes for the people in Ukraine.

Not that I feel like I have to respond to a hellbound person such as yourself, but I'll clarify for the sake of others. Imagine two distinct people, one that who, either with love or without any emotion at all, keeps their mind mind stays on one single course of logical thought, and the other who's mind is everywhere at once, and is very vengeful and malicious. Now imagine those two personas simultaneously in one person; that's me. If I want I could create something wonderful and beautiful with my right hand while I corrupt and annihilate something else with my left.

        Hello L,

I don´t think your issues should be a problem. It is called consciousness. You know there are multiple (or in your case two) solutions for something you might not like, which is thrown in your lap. Deal with it in a manner that will serve you and everyone around you. That is life.

          Hello Roland,

Thanks for the surprisingly good advice, considering your eternal resting place. For what you said about serving myself and those around me, that is actually what I've already been doing.

Seeing the future course of God's plan has given me a perspective in which only true love is worth fighting for in this world; all else is nothing but gilded shadows and dust. And by true love I mean love like that which is between God and his children, and true love between people. Love that isn't rooted on appearances or superficial things like beauty or sensuality, but on mutual servitude and willingness, love that in marriage unites a man and woman into one flesh both spiritually and physically.

Roland is indeed Hellbound, but here at Landover we're a friendly bunch. Besides, his question is a fair one. It helps us determine what kinds of demons are currently running amok in your mind, and perhaps, rectum. For example, if your thoughts are cold and rational and without a desire to trust vague, evasive assurances, you have an atheist demon infestation. If you have impulsive, devious thoughts, you may have ass-burger demons, or gay demons. The gay demons are marked by a desire to be mischievous coupled with an impulse to narrate your day in song, like you're in High School Musical. It could be that you are plagued with simple retard demons. The more we know, the more we can help.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

              Hi Mrs. Etheldreda

Heh, no I don't feel the need to narrate my day in song. Fanciful crap like that is actually part of what I see in this world as "gilded shadows and dust". As for demons in me, I don't need any since I could be worse than any demon if I wanted to.

Between the strong passion and love I have for my fellow brother and sisters in Christ in my heart, and the devious, vengeful wrath towards the rest of the world in my mind, as well as the knowledge, understanding, and vision that spans that God gave me in my spirit, I'm far more dangerous without the help of any imp in my head. I may be good, but I am by no means safe.

Those gifts, tempered with the trials and pain God has put my through, have made me very strong. As a result, the only authority someone with a powerful mind and heart like mine can accept is that of God himself. I could never take orders or even suggestions from a lowly demon.

Dear, if you've already given them permission to come in (looking at porn, reading Harry Potter, bringing home items from thrift store), they won't ask you for your approval.

Someone has been reading too much C.S. Lewis.

It's called the Dunning-Kruger effect, and it means you are deluded into thinking you know more, and are in control more than you actually are. All I am saying is you don't speak like a person who has been blessed with the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), but of one who thinks he's super-duper spiritual, powerfully spiritual, even.

I don't give permission to anything or anyone to come into my mind. If you'll remember, my wording was that "if I wanted to" I could act worse than a demon (and I honestly think that the Harry Potter stories are overrated, which is why I've never read them, plus porn also falls into the "gilded ash" category of things I don't care about).

Yay, you got the Aslan reference.

If someone's really insane, do they keep asking themselves that question? Think about it logically; you're asking "How could God possibly trust me with gifts like that?" and the answer is that I really don't deserve them. But he gave them to me because he knows how he made me: I can't stand by if my friends are in danger's path. I can see the hearts of my friends, all fellow Christians, and I decide that I'll do whatever I have to in order to keep them, one young lady especially, safe from the increasingly hostile world around them.

As for my relationship with that young lady, I know that is really true love because even though I know that a relationship between us might never involve intercourse, marriage, or even dating (something else I think is kinda overrated), we'll never leave each-other's side, and always be there for the other.

Hello dear. You do seem quite "full of yourself", if you'll pardon the expression.

Proverbs 27:2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

A little humility would perhaps not go amiss?

1 Samuel 2:3 Talk no more so exceedingly proudly, let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

I do my best to not show pride, but merely self-understanding and confidence. If I have acted without Christian humility, then I apologize.

In reference to what you quoted, it's not pride it's just trust issues. I've personally experienced the raw end of human wickedness, and the only one I could trust to rule over me completely is God himself. I respect earthly powers, but I always sleep with one eye open when I do.

If you would genuinely like to display a little humility, it might be a start to comply with the instructions shown at the top of this thread. I will repeat them for your convenience.

Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.
You can then, perhaps, go on to the Me! Me! Me! business - though personally I would really rather that you didn't. Because it's not about you, is it? It's about Jesus.

I don't suffer from that at all. All I wanted was help and advice about my gifts, I don't care whether anyone is interested in my life or not.
