When I look at, and compare the 2 different methods of interpreting the food laws in the NT, there seems to be no method to figure out which one is correct. The sole verse of Isaiah 66:17 seems to be the only verse that points to the food laws still being in effect at this time.

I thought Isaiah 66:17 would make it obvious that the food laws are still in effect. I had felt the need to point this out. It seems that many other people do not see it that way. The replies have been very useful to me to figure out what I need research more.

If the food laws are a few of the laws that are still in effect, it will have serious consequences for those who want to eat swine.

If the food law was done away, then those people are in a safer position. I had felt the need to point out my position.

I still feel that the food laws are still in effect. I have made my views known, so there is nothing more I should do, and I must just get back to my research. I had to organize my information, and people's responses forced me to organize it faster.

I have wanted people to know that there is another point of view.
I have no need for me to post anything else on this food law subject on the forum. There is no new information that I know of at this time.

Have you not been reading people's responses, dear? People have rebuked you countless times for your obsession with interpretation. It's not healthy and we're not interested in how you "interpret" what the Bible says.

I have no need for me to post anything else on this food law subject on the forum.

And we have no need for you to do it either. So on this point, at least, we are 100% in agreement! This is good news and we can all move on.

Read the first part..

It is helpful though when we need to confirm what God has given us as part of His plan for Salvation, which is a pretty important plan, really does hold water. It's not as though someone's sat down and cobbled together a whole lot of stuff with internal plot lines neatly tied off as the fable progresses.
