Are you trying to threaten me?

when I went to college and did biology for 2 years, even though it was difficult, I did actually pass the course.
In the light of Mrs. Lytton-Vassey's keen observations cited below, I find it very difficult to believe.

A person who passed a college-level biology class should have at least a basic understanding of the scientific method and scientific evidence, and at least a vague understanding of how DNA works and how all Earth's species are related to each other.

Compare and contrast the post today at 2:29 a.m., UK time:

So which was it? Too lazy and self-important, or too stupid? Either way, "not your fault" - awww - poor you. If only I could find my tiny violin.
Indeed, Mrs. Lytton-Vassey. This person seems to have a rather troubled relation with simple facts and truth in general.

That would depend on the education of your parents, wouldn't it?

Also, I believe in the Bible just as much as you do (I wouldn't be an Agnostic Theist non-denominational Christian if I didn't),
I've fixed it for you, Miss Agnes. Based on all of the information you provided about yourself, I understand now that you seem to be having troubles understanding words which are longer than two syllables. I will no longer hold your ignorance against you.

but at the same time, I also believe in the Qu'ran, the Torah, all other holy books and scrolls etc,
How do you reconcile the contradiction between and within all of the holy texts? I mean, don't they cancel each other out between them, and aren't they just terribly inconsistent internally?

Also, I am curious, how do you draw the distinction between "books" and "scrolls?"

(one of my beliefs is that there is a supreme being who is responsible for all forms of life,
    Yep, definitely not an agnostic.

and that there are beings known as protectors who all look the same, have immortality which they can also give as a gift, and carry swords which they use to punish those who have done evil).
That's cute but unsupported by the holy texts you mention before; how can they be true if they contradict your belief?
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Dolores, I think we have another case of transatlantic terminological confusion here. Honestly, I do wish Britain would just bite the bullet and use internationally comprehensible terms, i.e. American.

I have highlighted the problem phrase. College here does not imply an institution of educational merit. It just means a place for (compulsory) continued education for people aged 16 to 18, who have left school (= high school) without any useful knowledge or qualifications. I believe the government instigated this system to disguise the fact that so many of these early school-leavers are unemployable. So while college-level in the US implies - in some cases, at least - some actual academic content, that is never the case here.

If you look on the term college as meaning babysitting service for those too dim to stay on at high-school, you won't be far wrong. I hope that is helpful?

You make an excellent point here. However, I hope it is not meant to be a sideswipe at True Christian™ mothers. Bear in mind, Dolores, that you are here under sufferance.

      All the very best, dear,

Thank you, Ma'am. Yes, it was very helpful. I should have known this, I know I learned that at some point.

Of course not, Mrs. Lytton-Vassey. As I have been documenting it in my very slowly progressing dissertation research, True Christian™ mothers give their children with the best education that the Bible can provide.

          My good woman,

GOD would tell us if this were so. Our Bible does not say He created other planets with life, only the earth. (Genesis 1:28) It is obvious you left school 7 years ago - 7 years too soon to graduate from elementary school. I pray for your soul and for your realization that only the Bible is a reliable source of information, not speculations from "scientists," most of whom are L. Ron Hubbard followers and Carl Satan - er, Sagan - fanatics.

There is still time for Salvation(R) but these are the end times. I would love to see you kneeling, lifting your eyes to Heaven and inviting Jesus inside. May this happen soon - since when He comes, it will be too late for you.

          In prayer,
          Mike H
