Very well, then. You have stated what you believe. Now, sir, are you willing to support your position with any Bible verses?


Down through the centuries people have fought wars to defend what they believe. You have made mention of your own military service. Can you defend your beliefs using only the Bible? That is all we are asking.


Blasphemy, by the way, is a very serious charge. During some of those centuries to which I alluded, a person could be tortured and executed in horrific fashion for such a crime. The people making the charges and conducting the punishments would have Biblically-based arguments to support their actions.


For perhaps the seventh or eighth time, I invite you to cite, write and illuminate using actual words from the Bible.

What an excellent idea, Sister. How helpful it would be to support one's claim with the very evidence required, nay, the only evidence that would stand against such accusations. For how else can a Christian know what is the will and mind of God if not from His Own Holy Word? Why, otherwise, we would be simply accepting this man's personal assurances that he alone, among all believers throughout all time and spanning the globe, is uniquely blessed to know the Truth that is hidden from the rest of us.

Welcome friend! While I find it odd you do not have a normal name, I am sure there is a reason for hiding, though I have to admit, it seems devious to hide behind a 'nom de plume'.

God made us as simple beings, as well as all the animals. There is (for want of a simpler term) a 'pecking order'. You have to admit, you are more significant than say a banana slug , right? God, in His Perfect Magnificence, has defined for us the entire Order of Things so the simple minded do not have to spend the effort to figure it out and instead, can focus on Pleasing Him.

I do not recall you servicing me, but forgive my transgression. Thank you, I am sure I enjoyed it.

I look forward to discussing Jesus and His Plan for us at your earliest convenience.

We're sons and daughters of the King of King, dear (2 Corinthians 6:18), heirs to His Glory (Romans 8:17). You might think of it as Jesus personally rebuking you, we're just the messenger (1 Corinthians 6:19). This is for your own spiritual good, mind you. Like a father lovingly rebukes his child (Hebrews 12:6), even unto marks of black and blue (Proverbs 20:30), Jesus rebukes the sinner (Proverbs 3:12 ).

While you are here, and until your Salvation Qualities have been fully vetted by our Department of Faith (so far, speaking as one not affiliated with the department, it doesn't look so good for you), please keep in mind your place here:

Friend, we are not making demands of you or from you. We are simply spreading the Love of God. We do not bend, wrap or interpret the True Word of God. If God wanted us to be different, He would of told us to. If he wanted us to have a nose on our tailbone, He would of put one there. The Bible is plain and simple. Why can't you understand this?

I'm here to learn. I came from a Nazarene background from south Texas but have since seen the world. I'm now a combat disabled servant of the lord.

Its been a very violent 15 years for me so I'm now looking for clarity. Most of the end users of my violence have been as fervent in their faith as I am in mine.


I'm a little concerned about the ferocity of verbage in this community but I felt it was generally for a good cause so here I am.

"I'm here to learn"
I assume that you want to learn the lore of the novel titled as "The Bible"? I personally find Game of Thrones more interesting but you're free to read anything you want, of course.
Though I have to admit that I don't see how learning about a novel will bring clarity.
