It's like you know my marriage! You truly are so insightful! He has spanked me on a number of occasions over the last six months, mostly for transgressions relating to hair, makeup and clothes (in the early days). The first time it happened it was without warning, just over his knee in the living room, under garments pulled down and a flat hairbrush was used. I was so shocked it took my breath away.


The issue with that is he makes my son watch it with his hands behind his back and he is not allowed to speak whilst it is being administered. It makes me feel very ashamed to be in that position in front of my son...it is actually one of our issues we disagree on!

Your husband should NOT be uncovering a mother's nakedness in front of her son. Perhaps you could request that he read the story of Noah's son, Ham, to you. Then, you could pray that the Holy Spirit will open your husband's mind to learn from this scripture. You could even remind the Holy Spirit of the verse you noted earlier, 2 Timothy 3:16. Don't remind your husband of this verse, though. Your husband doesn't sound as easy-going as the Holy Spirit.

I now wear much more modest clothing, and minimum but modest undergarments. I no longer wear makeup and ensure that my hair remains down rather than tied up in a lesbian style bun or pony tail.

Lesbians are not known for wearing their hair in buns. Pretentious hipster guys are known for wearing their hair in buns.


Hair tucked up in a bun is actually more ladylike than wearing it loose upon one's shoulders like some sexpot. There's a reason why Paul instructs women to keep there hair covered up. We don't want to cause problems for the angels. 1 Corinthians 11:10. Like many, I don't claim to know exactly what Paul meant by this, but God told him to put in the Bible, so we know it's important.

Mary Anne, it's time you had some advice from a True Christian(TM) male. I am a well-built, intelligent, handsome and Holy Ghost-filled certified equine gnathologist, also residing in ungodly NYC. I am nearing completion of my PhD in Creation Science and I also have veterinary abilities and will be working with donkeys once I hear back from the donkey certification program to which I applied. All this should tell you that my advice has unprecedented value, and I say that with all humility. Being all puffed up is not pleasing to my Lord, who is deserving of all praise.


You mentioned something in one of your posts that I would like to rebuke you (in Jesus Name) for. In this Baptist forum, we do not use terminology like "mortal sin," since that is akin to being a Mary worshipping papist bound for the confession booths in HELL. You could call it a grievous sin or a really terrible sin, or a sin of sins, but don't use the term "mortal," because that's all Catholic and stuff.


I continue to worry for Seth's soul since your husband is attending a Christian "center" and not a church. I suspect, being a New Yorker, I know the center of which you speak and that is a mamby pamby, form your own Christianity kind of place. Attending such a "center" is like asking the devil to take aim at your solar lexis nexis and shoot his barbed arrows (all of which contain 6700 demons, I'm told) with full force. That has to be a sin in and of itself. Seth needs a man who will teach him to hunt, fish, shoot, and woo pretty girls (once he is old enough) so that he might marry and sire sons of his own to follow Jesus. As a woman you might not think this is important but as a man I am telling you this is a priority. You must not be much of a mother if you don't care about these manly things. I say lose the fake Christian man and get to a Baptist church and start looking for someone who owns a gun and who knows about sports and outdoorsy things.


I hang out with men all the time, generally on my knees, but all of us can shoot really well and we celebrate our manhood. Seth needs instruction in how to do that, and he needs an example around so he doesn't grow up to be a sissy. That's the problem with you women, you're all so female.


Well, I need you to know that you are on my prayer list and I hope your experience here is a good one. Just be careful about listening to some of the females here. They're all over me constantly (husband hunting seductresses) so they may try to keep you away from me. Well, I need to go since I have a hair appointment in ten minutes and it's a 20 minute walk. I hate being late.
