This site is genuinely the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Vast numbers of people blinding themselves to reality and to their own despicable nature.

I feel bad about your existence because you were most likely indoctrinated into the drivel of religion as a young child, but your actions and words are still your own and do not deserve special treatment regardless.

Your religion, along with all religion, is self-contradictory and ridiculous, supporting atrocious deeds and preaching despicable “morals”, effectively making itself a cancer upon society. I know that your cognitive dissonance won’t allow you to see past the words of the primitive, fallible men who wrote the Bible when speaking to someone like me, but I hope that at least some of you are able to realize the evil path you have taken and somehow find a loving, fulfilling life. Jesus must have helped to make an account on this forum - His favorite - even if you still struggle with demons.

Lovingly declaring women as objects, lovingly denouncing gays as subhuman, lovingly following a supposedly moral god who would dare to fathom punishing anyone for eternity? Of course I would not necessarily condemn the retarded and the others to Hell, but - frankly - it is not my decision. We do not make the decisions, we just share with everyone what God has told humanity. Incidentally, we do not think that gays are "subhuman" and I find your choice of words quite distasteful here. Many gay people are - from the secular viewpoint - exemplary human beings who show compassion and wit and succeed in their mundane endeavors. If we didn't have the Bible we would hold them in high Spiritual esteem. We actually Love them so much that we cannot withhold vital information about their future from them - Hell unless they Repent™. And we do have the Bible and the Bible tells us that good and evil are not determined by the outcome of an action but by the person doing the deed.

We don't make the rules, we just follow them and urge everyone to do the same for greater rewards in Heaven. You can claim that it isn’t your choice, but it is certainly your choice to believe in a book of superstition written thousands of years ago by goat farmers for no reason and despite various reasons, such as the evident lack of morality and abundance of contradictions present within. You go against your own internal sense of morals and trust a book simply on the grounds that you were brought up with it (I know this isn’t true for all of you, but it is the most common).

I happen to believe, as a young Christian girl hoping to find a man to provide for some day, that Landover Baptist Church has the most accepting, loving, and non-discriminatory congregation in existence! I admire their acceptance and love. They simply follow The Bible to its word and live their lives according to how Jesus wants them to. It’s really admirable and I hope to grow up to be a True Christian™️ Some day. What is it about these forums that you exactly disagree with?

Unfortunately James, I cant be mad at someone who never existed. Not to say that it isn’t possible that a man named Jesus was alive around 0 BCE, I’m referring to the supposed son of god.

I’m not sure how to even respond to that second part, except to ask why you would believe such a thing in the first place. And remember: the Bible isn’t proof.

To name a few, their blatant verbal cruelty towards those with mental or physical disabilities, people with different skin color than them, and other such things. Also the frankly disgusting conclusion that has been reached regarding the state of women (from what I’ve read, you’re seen to be objects). And then the fact that all of these ideas are substantiated on... nothing. Nothing except some old book you happened to be brought up with.
