I know homosexuals who tried to be straight. One went out and got married and had children and was miserable the whole time. Eventually, she got a divorce but because she was so focused on being the good Christian wife, she had two children who were forced to go through a divorce with daddy telling them that mommy is going to hell.
I also know negros who don't gangbang, steal pies, aren't thugs and they still aren't "white as snow." What, are they supposed to bleach their skin or something?

What you NEED to find terrifying is the prospect of an eternity in Hell. Have you even THOUGHT about where you are going to spend eternity?

There's nothing insane about loving God and doing His Will. I have to question the sanity of people who thumb their noses at the one who can destroy their bodies and souls in Hell.

Matt 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

That's Jesus talking, friend. Anyone who ignores a warning like that is insane.

I worry about the afterlife. I worry more about the present-life. Truth is, if God was as worried about what we believe in as fundies out there seem to think, he would send undeniable proof of his divinity. He hasn't, not that I've seen. Until then, I will go on the assumption that my faith isn't important enough to God that he's willing to do anything to get it. And I'll also assume that no loving God would send me to hell because he is unwilling to convince me of his existance.
