    New here.

I'm new. I orginally practiced Jade in my country India over 10 years ago but have not since. Interested in learning of other religions.

    *Waves* Hi!

I'm going to let you in a little secret: you aren't going to learn anything about other religions here. You'll only learn about Southern Baptists and their beliefs and practices. Diversity just doesn't exist in this forum. It sucks, but that's the way it is.

Other than that, you'll most likely find the Members here to be absolute dolls (aside from the occasional rebuking).

You said you used to practice Jade; what is Jade?

      Dear friend:

Welcome to God's favorite discussion board on the interwebs. There is only one religion that you need to learn: True Christianity™, as taught and practiced at Landover Baptist Church. We follow the entire King James Bible, not just the parts that make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Is there some reason why it should?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

        Pardon me, Miss Undecided!

We are quite happy to discuss any other religion here, and demonstrate how its followers are guaranteed eternal damnation for not becoming Christians. So yes, she can learn all sorts of things about other religions here!

I thought Jade was either a gemstone or a brand of that absinthe stuff they sell in France and Switzerland. Which is it that you worship?

Excellent friend. I am glad to here you've reject Satan in that forum and have come to the Faith of The One TRUE God were your' Salvation is Guaranteed (or your money back).

In a nut shell we TRUE Christians™ believe The Bible, King James Version 1611, is the literal true word of God to His creation and if one follows all of it then one will achieve life eternal. You shouldn’t be lax about this because Jesus is about to return to Earth from Heaven and kill all the unbelievers.

So does Christ win another victory over darkenss Dukka with you?

By Jade, do you mean the backwards ant-worship cult of Jain? Not that it matters, really, now that you're here and ready to begin learning about the One True Faith.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

                Friend,

How can you compare TRUE Christianty to anything? Christianity is what Jesus, the one true living God, wants. There rest are just false traps to luir souls into hell set up by Satan. Many were set up by the Devil with pre-stolen Christian ideas before Christ earthly ministry to mock God. The page you just posted is nothing more than an instrament to wound the souls of those who read it.

I think some repentance to Him is in order friend.

Does it tell you which ones lead to Hell and which is the One True Path to Heaven? If not, it sounds useless at best and postively harmful at worst.

The only true unbiased opinion can be found in one place, the Holy Bible (KJV1611 only, of course). Anything else is Satan waiting to devour your soul.

I welcome you here Brian , and all you stand for. For those members that don't know Brian, he gets quite a flattering review in Wikipedia...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Tamaki
At the Nelson meeting of the Destiny New Zealand "A Nation Under Siege" tour Tamaki attacked the media, the government, the Green Party and Grey Power, a lobby group for the elderly. The Greens were called "pagans, Grey Power were "self centred" and the media was labelled "modern day witchcraft". [7]
In 2004 'Sunday' broadcast a fairly negative portrayal of Tamaki and the Destiny Church. Such remarks included Rev Dr Philip Culbertson of the University of Auckland who said, "As far as I can tell it's a cult". The broadcasting standards authority ended up receiving numerous complaints regarding the unbalanced agenda of the article.
In July 2005Newstalk ZB host Mike Yardley claimed Tamaki had directed "highly offensive abuse" at him while off-air during an interview on July 20.[8] In his autobiography Tamaki denies that the abuse had happened.
In May 2006, Tamaki was voted the least trusted person in New Zealand.[9] In June 2006, he declared opposition to Sue Bradford's private members bill, which seeks to outlaw parental corporal punishment of children [1][2]
In May 2007 the Reader’s Digest's 'Most Trusted People' poll again ranked Brian Tamaki as New Zealand's least trusted person. [10]
You seem to be exactly the forward thinking righteous individual that the folk here at Landover welcome with open arms....

The devil, whose business is to pervert the truth, mimics the exact circumstance of the Divine Sacraments. He baptises his believers and promises forgiveness of sins...he celebrates the oblation of bread, and brings in the symbol of the resurrection. Let us therefore acknowledge the craftiness of the devil, who copied certain things of those that be divine."

Indeed it would seem that way.
Welcome Brian, it would seem you are indeed on the right path.
Although I'm not too happy about that pennycostal thing though..
As most pennycoastal churches are nothing but shouting competitions where the one who makes the loudest and most uncomprehensible noise:
And who rolls around the floor the longest.. wins the "price" of being regarded as "most holy of the congregation."
Jesus doesn't even like any kind of public prayer, so that's a no-no.

In any case, I will give you the benefit of the doubt for now brother, and hope you enjoy your stay here at the Landover Baptist Church forums.
Behave and post Godly posts and we (may) enjoy having you here.
