Too bad you are so thin skinned. I have been simply following the guidelines outlined here: http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=1725
Now, if it is your wish the Landover changes its' policy to suit you, I suggest you petition for a change.
As far as I am concerned, identifying a persons race means nothing to me. All I care about is the person on the inside. A wise man told me this: "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me".
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Christ’s love need not be shared, boy! I don’t need you to share your love with me. I have plenty of love for Jesus and the last thing I need is a rotten scoundrel like you get’n all mushy with me. What are you some kind of a light in the loafers, gliding around town, sissy queer?

Furthermore, you don’t share Christian love with all. For instance, would you dare share your good Godly love and Christian temperament with a Jew, Satanist, Atheist, or other non-believer? I think not! Trash of that sort don’t need no love. What they need is good old fashioned fire and brimstone, boy….god old fashioned fire and brimstone I say! The wicked don’t respond well to love and nice talk; conversion and acceptance of the true written word can only be accomplished by set’n their minds right; and the only method they understand is God’s hard justice! As true Christian evangelists, it is our duty and God given right to point out the error of their ways and make them aware of the hell that awaits them in the next life! It is our responsibility as good God fear’n folk to firmly tell those heathens and heretics, like yourself, that God hates them!

Nahum 1:2. God is jealous, and the Lord is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

Nahum1:3. The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

BLASPHEMY! The Bible was sent down to us from the heavens by God almighty himself! The 1611 Version carries with it, God’s true written word. To question the sacred 1611 is to question God’s will; and to question God’s will is to question the existence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Someone ought to smack you in the head with an Authorized King James Version, 1611 hard cover you damned wicked, Jesus hating fool!

How can you even suggest that we, God’s chosen people, could be sinners? God has chosen us to reveal the fury of his wrath and the destiny that awaits scum like you. To say that we’re wrong is to imply that God is wrong, and God could never be wrong because he chose us to preach his holy word! It seems to me that you’re receiving a strike on God’s holy scoreboard every time you post your chicken scratch, gibberish on this forum.

I’m looking forward to the day when you can put together a complete sentence that don’t sound like you’re speaking in tongues, you lily livered heathen! May the Lord curse you with the Aids, the Crabs, the Mono, and the Genital Herpes!

This is an interesting response. I'm sure Freud could have given a fascinating analysis.

If I were thin skinned my life would have taken a completely different course. If I were to express anger or outrage at every offense I have been subject to I would probably be in jail. I choose to take the blows and hope that by example, others will also absorb the punches in the hope that by taking the abuse without rancor, some degree of respect will come.

The policy of the church is a bit antiquated and I hope that at some point it will change. Change does not easily come from the outside. It is not up to me to petition for a change in church policy since I am not a church member. I am simply a guest and I appreciate the honor bestowed on me to be allowed to participate in this forum. Change must be an upwelling from the inside. You can choose to go along with your church policy which endorses the use of certain racial slurs or you can choose to speak out against it. If race means nothing and you care only about what is inside, why give voice to the offensive terms?

But you are thin skinned, you are upset. I am not.

You continued rantings in this thread and others to me and I suspect to others, is outrage.

Antiquated? Well, the Landover Baptist Church has been around for quite some time (since 1620) and I would suspect, some of the policies from the beginning are still in effect. But then again, we live by the KJV Bible too. I suppose you are going to tell that is antiquated too?

You are a guest (as am I) and realize it is an honor but you want to change things? Not much of an honor if you feel it is not good enough for you.

I choose to go along with the Church. It is why I joined. I trust the Churches judgment, just as I do with God's and the KJV1611 Bible.
