You say you have nothing against our religion and yet here you are, trying to tell us it's OK to not believe in God despite the fact God tells us you are a horrible person who deserves to die.

I never once told you not to believe in god, you can believe in whatever you want to believe. I agree almost completely with what the bible says just not with the way lots of people have misinterpreted it. When has god told you I should die? And why do so many people have to start using slander or making fun of people that don't agree with them?

I hope I've already made it clear to you that I have nothing against your religion, I don't agree with it, it's not how I would want to live my life, but why hate me for it? Instead of telling me I'm going to burn in hell over and over again, please try and read the other posts and think of something sensible to add.

I'm not here to flame anyone, I'm really just interested in what makes people choose Christianity over science, Islam, Buddhism, or any other religion. Why in the world do you think my parents are ashamed of me? I'd think they're rather proud of me, they're atheists, they have open minds, and they don't judge others based on ideals as long as those ideals don't effect others.




PS. My god! i just read in one of Ezekials links that a pastor killed a girl while preforming an excorcism, that's crazy! I hope he's in prison now, also, he thought Jesus hung himself on the cross.

"Soft core" Christians, in my opinion, are fine as long as no one starts pushing ideals on anyone else. Having faith is not proof. Such as? About the part you quoted from the bible, what does that prove? I have nothing against any religion except for creationism or the people that push beliefs on children.

But the Bible teaches that the earth was created in six 24-hour days (Ex 20:11) 6,000 years ago. And the Bible tells us to raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Eph 6:4).
