I wasn't claiming it included direct references to prostitution and drug abuse; I was claiming it mentioned King's Cross station, which is notorious for prostitution and drug abuse. What part of that statement do you disagree with, you hateful Mick?

What's wrong with defending something you believe in? Whether you wanted to be a christian apologetic or not, you kinda have been with me hanging around here.

The question is: do you have scientific evidence for your claims?

But Islam holds many of the same beliefs as christianity. They both believe in one god ([2.163] And your God is one God! there is no god but He; He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.). They both believe in a heaven and a hell (or words to the effect). The Koran also teaches of Jesus. Be open minded.

The Koran also teaches to behead Christians and fly aeroplanes into towers full of Jew Yorkers. If you're too open-minded, you'll start to find all kinds of rubbish accumulating in there.

If I die a christian and turn out to be right- well then, eternal bliss. And if I'm wrong- doesn't matter.
If I die an atheist and turn out to be wrong- it's eternal torture. And if I'm wrong- nothing.

Ok let me get this straight; I understand that if you live your life as an atheist and you're right that it won't matter either way whether you lived your life as a Christian or not. Gotcha.

But in the "If Jesus exists" scenario, you can have either eternal bliss with Jesus; or anal sex with satan...and you made the choice to take your chances on hell. Which I really don't understand coming from somebody who claims to be intelligent. If believing is all that is required, why would you risk such a thing? Do you want to be gang raped by demons?

Christian apologetics are meant, however, to argue that Christianity is reasonable and in accordance with the evidence that can be examined, analogous to the use of the term in the Apology of Socrates, written by Plato.

Christianity is a religion of FAITH, like any other religion. "Examinable evidence" is only as trustworthy as our human senses, as modified by how our brains interpret what we sense.

God's Truth is far beyond evidence, and God's Word is beyond interpretation.

We do not defend Christianity. Christianity requires no defense.
