Greetings, all. I've been kindly instructed to post in this section to lay out my beliefs, introduce myself, etc. Well, I'm not sure that I "believe" anything. "nothing is true; everything is permitted" (Austin Osman Spare). My spiritual practices fall under the heading of eclectic paganism/occultism. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, i am a "Witch", although I prefer the term Heathen. My influences include Norse, Sumerian, and Native American mythology. I also have an academic and spiritual interest in pre-Roman Christianity and Gnosticism. Why, you may ask, is a sad godless pagan like me here. Well, I intend to be a thought-provoker; a S--t stirrer, but in a polite way. Remember, Satan is the churches best friend; he's kept the pews full for aeons!

Sure, I have. I was raised Christian (United Methodist) after all. Satan is everyones boogyman in the closet, waiting to roast your face and consume your soul if you step out of line with the religious establishment. He is also the demonization of every god ever unsurped by another religion/culture. One man's god is another mans devil. Satan is everything that we, as the human race, don't understand, and therefore fear. "Fear is the mindkiller" (Frank Hurbert, Dune).

Do you not see the paradox within that which you have just quoted?

"Nothing is true." Is that phrase true or lie? "Nothing is true" must be a lie. How do I arrive at this?

If it is true that nothing is true, then the statement, "nothing is true" would be truthful. It cannot be truthful if, truly, "nothing is true"; therefore, it is a lie. It therefore means "some things are true", and offers you no guidance in determining which is true and which is not. Handy.

"Nothing is true; everything is permitted." If nothing is true, then "everything is permitted" is a lie. Therefore, nothing is permitted.

Another proud unsaved heathen?? I'm honestly quite surprised, the sign at the top says UNsaved UNwelcome. And yet, it would seem that the unsaved masses translate that as 'come one come all riffraff'!!

Well Mister Crowley, maybe you should take this is a sign that it may be Jesus attempting to reach and SAVE you? I'm sure one of the Pastors could get you started on a sure-thing tithing plan to save your soul and finance the new jets for our Pastors!

While we are both equally despised by the Baptists of Landover, I am despised because I have been enlisted by the angelic forces of Heaven to rid the world of Satanists, vampires, warlocks, werewolves, and other dark creatures of the night who molest babies with their fangs, and rip their bodies 'sunder on engorged, filthy demon-cocks.
