  • Hello, I'm Michael.

Hello, my name is Michael, I'm not a Christian per se, but i believe in the moral teachings and values of Jesus. I believe in the Gnostic church, just like Jesus did.

I'm here, to learn about your values, and perspectives, and relate my own, in a philosophical way. And I hope we can learn from eachother.

I am a 19 year old male, from Washington state, with a high school, and some college education. I have read the OT, and NT (KJV), and I'm interested in figuring things out, investigating, and researching all possibilities.

    Its nice to meet you.

Laziness and sloth mixed in with poor grammar does not make a decent introduction. Perhaps you should continue your education?
    What is your favorite verse?
    Kings 18:27
But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

Wrong. Jesus was/is a Baptist. Baptized by none other than John the Baptist himself.

        Gnostic??

Please expand/explain. What does that include, in your mind, Michael?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Can you back any of that up with Scripture? It seems to me that you're making up your own Jesus, boy.

We reject all philosophy, because Jesus commands it in the Holy Bible. If you want to learn about or Church, please read THIS.

If you've read the KJV Bible, then what is there to "figure out?"

            Welcome, Michael.

It's very nice that you took the time to introduce yourself and we appreciate that in young gentlemen.

You note that you are 19 years old. Since you fail to mention if your married, I conclude that you are not. Are you gay?

HT Tanner: No, im not married or gay. I'm actually in the process of finding the right woman for me...

Pastor Ezekiel: You have been nothing but rude, and bigoted to me since i first got here, and i can understand that.. But don't you think there's a better way?

Levi Jones: I believe in the nature of the Universe, everything is connected, I like to call Nature, God (because that's the closest measurable thing to "God" we have..(Or atleast proof of)). I believe in fasting and meditation (Like Jesus did), and i practice Pranayana (Breath Control)... I believe a lot of life is wasted as well, i believe if everyone just sat, in quiet contemplation, or reflective silence, the world would be a much better place, because we would all have inner peace.

moral path: Aren't laziness and Sloth, the exact same thing? I suppose i could agree with you there, it is a small introduction post... But what grammatical and/or spelling errors did i make?

That is very comforting. We have some fine young ladies here on the forum that may well suit your needs.

Pastor Zeke is a fine and learned man. I'm sure he will respond.

Levi Jones is one of my closest friends here and I am sure he will have a well reasoned and insightful response to your concerns.

Well, you should capitlize the "M" in moral. I doubt "sloth should be capitalized unless your also capitalize "laziness. "I" should always be capitalized. I believe the inclusion of the comma after the word "there", is incorrect for proper American usage. There should me a period after the word "there".

We have many experts here on the use of punctuation and I'm sure they will weigh in with their opionions - to which, I always defer since I only have my 10th grade* certificate.

                * When I completed the 10th grade, my teachers told me I would be much more likely to achieve my lot in life (working with my hands) if I stopped wasting their time. To this day, I am thankful since I started on an extremely lucrative career in waste management.

By the time I retired I owned my own garbage truck and have been proud of that to this very day. That, and having a large tallywacher good common sense led me to the life of luxury I now enjoy. I found that waving that big boy on my garbage route good customer service brought me many rewards that paid huge dividends later in life.

                  Gezundheid!

I'm here, (no comma required) to learn about your values, (never a comma before "and") and perspectives, (never) and relate my own, in a philosophical way. And I hope we can learn from eachother.
I doubt you can teach us anything! Are you sure you finished High School?

May I suggest you start by researching the KJV and perhaps a dictionary?

Levi Jones: I believe in the nature of the Universe, everything is connected, I like to call Nature, (no comma here either my doped friend) God (because that's the closest measurable thing to "God" we have..(Or at least proof of)). Speaking of hypocrisy, how can something that by very definition is "Saved" be "Unsaved"? I hope your head didn't just explode.

Speaking of hypocrisy, your forum members don't condone drugs. Yet, they tell people to go get medication (Drugs), from their pastors etc..

Why don't you just pray to god your baby with Swine Flu lives?
Why don't you pray your cancer subsides, or goes into remission?

Because you know prayer doesn't work, that's why, even you Christians take drugs.

Oh, and i changed my sig to that, because you're not saved. You might be delusional and think you guys are, but you sadly, aren't.
