  • Hello

Hello. I'm riot (yes, that's what people call me now a days) and I'm now focused completly on spreading God's love to as many people as I can. The way I found God was .... hard. I was depressed and had taken to cutting -I'm not one month free of self mutilation, praise God!- and felt as if no one was there to support me. But than I heard this song in a car driving past -Praise You In This Storm by Casting Crowns- and just felt so warm. So, I started looking for God and found him everywhere around me. It's been a month, and I've never felt better. Jesus is my adrenaline rush. I prefer him over razor blades any day!

Now that's testimony you don't hear every day.

Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? What do you do for a living? What church do you attend? What's your favorite Bible verse?

I'm from New Jersey and I am looking for a good church. Any ones you recomend? I'm currently studying psychology and hope to become a psychiatrist. Presently, my favorite verse is the first one. "in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth"

Interesting. I'm guessing you'll find a big warm welcome here with psychiatry as your aspiration. The depth of your Biblical knowledge is astounding as well.

Why don't you tell us what you're really up to?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

          A Muslim psychiatrist?
          Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Do you have a KJV Bible? All you need to know about God is contained on its pages.

Sadly, I don't. :/ I only have a hand-me-down NIV at the moment. However, after reading what was said about the Bibles and the publishers etc., I'm
                  Hoping to get one asap.

The Word of God can be had for free if you just visit your local Independant Baptist Church and ask the Pastor for one. Make sure you ask specifically for a KJV1611 Authorized Version Bible.

Also you can read one online at www.biblegateway.com. And for your assisted reading pleasure, Brother V has got a wonderful thread going HERE called "Bible in a Year."

Hmmm, when you put it all together like that it makes me suspect him a bit.

It is interesting to see some of these new posts. They rarely come right out and say they are full of BS but with most every comment, they let something slip or word things in a particular/peculiar way. It is part of Gods majesty in making their lips be loose. Most heathens have social disorders that compel them to belch out how depraved they are.

Indeed, Brother James. The Bible tells us these people are fools, and fools speak too much and let words slip...
(Proverbs 29:11 KJV) A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
