You can't put all the blame on the daughters. After all, you claim that the child's soul comes from the sperm, which was Lot's.

They were the ones who voluntarily had sex with their own father in "revenge".

Anyway if haven't got the clue yet the story of Lot is not supposed to be an inspirational one, it is a warning to the virtuous. Lot was a Godly man who threw his lack of moral courage refused to confront sin and paid a terrible price by begetting a line of sinners on his own children.

Incidentally it also reinforces The Biblical position that genetic inheritance comes only from the father since the daughters could not continue Lot’s line by simply having children with a conventional relationship. Perhaps you might consider this the next time you accuse us TRUE Christians of making that up.

Maybe Lot felt obligated to protect them because he was their host. No doubt in the kind of dog eat dog Darwnist nightmare you live in a guest in your house would count him self lucky if he wasn't robed and killed in his sleep but in Lot's day being a host carried serious obligations.
