    That is why Jesus brought you to us,Guidance some one to talk to. Jesus wants to help you understand YOURSELF.

    You will have 1 huge regret,you did not love Jesus,you have rejected him.There is a price to pay for that,can you cover that check when it comes due ?
    If I meet Jesus after I die, than yes, I will regret not accepting Him. But until then, I'm happy living my life as it is.

      Your saying "other" implies that you came here educated. That is clearly not the case at all, Hooligan. You're perhaps as educated as an 18-year-old can be, but you are an 18-year-old and have obviously not lived long enough to be able to count yourself among the "educated." Yet here you are, seeking "stimulating conversation" with those far better educated than you, especially in all things spiritual. I think we get that you just don't believe in anything, but I don't get what it is you find "stimulating" about conversation with people who have dedicated themselves to learning when you have dedicated yourself to NOT learning. Frankly, your passive-aggressive style of trolling is wearing thin. Maybe you'd be more inclined to learn at another forum.

        I said educated because I do know a good amount about a few things, and I am aware that there are far more educated people on this and other sites. I enjoy learning about other cultures/religions, therefore it is stimulating conversation to me.

          Now I understand,you are 18( obviously you have travelled the world extensively) and are highly educated ,High School I presume and maybe a semester at the local Junior Community college.Through you many years of world travel you have came in contact with truly enlightened people,mom,dad,uncle Buck and a few teachers and lets not forget the local police.

          Cultures/ Religions let see you have learned a lot of the mooslim religion from Muhammad the owner of the stop-n-go,Buddhism from Lo Hung Fat over at the Royal Dragon Cink restaurant.And Hindu from Abeu that runs the discount cigarette /incense shop.

          The conversations must have been stimulating to say the least,how long do I cook the Beef and bean chima chunga for ? Does the Lo Mein have MSG in it? Are the Kools buy 2 get one free?

            Yes, I have a high school eduacation, and have yet to travel the world, though I want to. I haven't had any conversations with people of other religions besides Christianity, but I have studied some other cultures, it's just a hobby. I'm not pretending to know everything, because I know I don't. Also, I don't smoke cigarettes.

              Re: Hello

              OK, HLG4life, what do you want to talk about? This is God's favorite forum where we dedicate ourselves to praising Jesus. This is what we know. This is what we like to discuss. You profess to believe in nothing in particular and are apathetic about learning how to apply what you might learn here to keeping your own backside out of the coals.

              2 Corinthians 6:14-17 (King James Version)
              14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
              15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
              16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
              17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

              If you're able to understand what the Bible (KJV1611) tells us here, you should be able to appreciate that we would have really little interest in casual conversation or building any sort of relationship with you. Basically, we are encouraged by scripture to steer clear of you and those of your ilk.

              BUT, you didn't land here by coincidence. You're here to accomplish something, although you may not yet know what that is. The same may be said of those of us who strive to save the souls who come flitting into our little web of salvation. There was a time when we'd have been obliged to deal with the likes of you in a very different way indeed. Praise Jesus you are living when and where you are!

              Deuteronomy 13:6-10 (King James Version)
              6If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
              7Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
              8Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
              9But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
              10And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

                I think HLG is a bit like I was. Don't care about nmuch, kinda toys with saving his soul. I was like that. Then the cosmic brck of Jesus whupped me upside the head.

                HLG, stick around, wait for Jesus' brick and GROW with the rest of us.

                God bless you.

                    Well, what made all of you want to be saved? Just a starting question.

                      That Godly brick that whupped me upside the head and made think - what is this all about? Where am I going? What the hideous haggis have I been doing with my life?

                      I'm a lost sheep, have been soul searching for a while now and reckon it's time to do something about it and read the right kind of bedtime reading.

                      This might seem incongruous (and possibly blasphemous - for which I potentially apologise) but it was the Monty Python film The Life of Brian that got the ball rolling. Lunacy - but it got me thinking.

                      I'm new here, but hopeful. And I don't laugh at John Cleese any more.
