    Hello, from me(England)

    Hello,

For confidentiality sake you can call me Yak but I'm not acctually one(a yak)

I live happily in England. Although I must express I don't represent England (as I'm sure you're aware)

I AM a Christian, and I do Believe in God and follow his teachings.

I was born into a loving, Christian family. and went to a private Christian school, and am not accustomed to a secular lifestyle.

I suppose I'm here because I am interested in understanding more about Christianity, and people's personal views on the Scriptures. And to get to meet people who share similar ambitions.

Well that's all from me, and it's a pleasure to meet you.

    Re: Hello, from me(England)

What church do you attend over there? I didn't think there were any Christians left on that Godless rock.

Please tell us about yourself. How old are you? What is your wife's best pie? How did you come to find Jesus?

If you'd like to learn about Landover Baptist, you might want to start with our Church Doctrines HERE.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

      Re: Hello, from me(England)

I am 17 years old(although I am 18 soon). I have just finished school and am looking for a job before I go to college and study public services.

I attend my parent's non-denominational house church, and although only 7 people attend it, I know of over 6 different churches in my area alone whose numbers are often in the hundreds, so I would NOT call it a "Godless rock."

Son, do you think that Jesus is "non-denominational?" The vast majority of churches in the world are false.

        What Bible do you use?

Did you know that God hates England?

What? Just now? Kids graduate in the Fall over there?

Public service. Yes, I understood everyone worked for the government in the UK, didn't know there was a college course for being a parasite public servant though.

What does that mean? Do 7 people gather rond, light some candles and sing kumbaya? That's not a church, it's an abomination.

A lot of kumbaya singing there too? Maybe some statues?

I believe that when Jesus said "For God so loved the World.... that whoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have eternal life." He means that so long as you believe in Him then your name is in the good book, so long as you follow his teachings. I think it is as simple as that. and I think as long as you believe in Him. It doesn't matter what denomination you are.

Although I know it doesn't sit well with you. I use different versions of the Bible. Mainly NIV although for all of my schooling I used NKJ.

I do not believe God hates England, or any civilization and it's not up to you to condemn it(thank God). I think you are ill-informed and make alot of presumptions. I am upset that you think this, as I think if you take a closer look you will find it a more peaceful nation than you think.

And I think your prejudices will get in the way of our relationship.

You are aware that Satan himself, and all the demons of Hell believe in Jesus, right? Do you think they're saved too?

Hey do what you want. I remember once, when I was 16, I wanted to get my driver's license. Instead of reading the driver's handbook, I bought Hotrod magazine. Essentially the same thing, I figured. Wanna bet how that turned out for me?

Yes. You're peacefulling your way straight to Islamization. Good for you!

Absolutely. But do you think He's always happy with what he hears? Or with the people gathered in His name?

If you believe that then you believe Jesus looked with favor on Jim Jones.

There's a little more to it than just 'saying' you're there in Christ's name.

Jesus never said that. John did. By believing in Him it does mean to follow His teachings and His teachings are all of the Holy Bible. This is why it is imperative to follow all of the Bible, and not just bits and pieces, to be properly Saved(r).

Even though the NIV is an inferior translation to the AV1611 KJV? You would prefer to hear a distorted Word of God than the true one?

Son, your ignorance if the true meaning of scripture makes me a bit sad. When Jesus made this statement, there were very few people who believed in God. And most of them were Jews, and we all know how wrong they are and how they treated our Lord. As Jesus was creating Christianity, and by extension Independent Baptist Churches, He did not have the luxury of making too many demands on His followers.

Why, in those days, building beautiful churches like we have here in Landover would have been impossible for innumerable reasons. So early Christians had to make due by meeting in caves, hovels, and mangers.

If you were to account for the increase in population, the spread of True Christianity™, and developments in building techniques, the "two or three" gathered "in my name" would more likely be "two or three hundred gathered in a gleaming high-arched modern cathedral."

It really bothers us True Christians™ when unsaved people like you interperet the King James Bible for their own selfish ends. Please keep your scriptural ignorance off of our Godly boards.

Scince I have been here I have received infractions for the most absurd things and I feel that your reasoning, and lack judgement are biased to your "American way of life" with no thought for others. You are set in your ways and nothing I can say will change that. I feel that you are being unjust and not open minded.
Jesus does not expect us to be "open minded" to unsaved trash like yourself. He expects us to keep clear of you.

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds" -- 2 John 1:9-11
