I fear that perhaps you were not thinking completely clearly when you wrote this post. Your inability to capitalize the title of our Savior makes me wonder at your sincerity here. I pray that you haven't come to mock us and the Message of our Lord and Savior by attempting to appear over-zealous for Him. That behavior will *not* be tolerated here, I assure you.
I apologize if I appear over-vigilant. We are so accustomed to being attacked for our beliefs that we cannot be too careful these days. Perhaps if you told us more about yourself, like your marriage status, how many years you have served in Iraq, your favorite Bible verses and which version of the 1611 Bible you read (hardcover, softcover, etc) we could be more welcoming to you.

Ok well, to answer your question and tell a little about myself.
I'm devorced, I never served in Iraq...but my stepsister did, does that count? Hmmmm, dont really have a fav bible verse, if I did it might be in the secret gnostic teachings of Jesus. Oh, one verse thats been spinning around in my head lately is John 19:28-30. Um...I read any version of the holy scriptures, they all pretty much say the same thing right, hard cover soft cover...dont really matter, just a bunch of paper with ink on it right?
I was saved I think when I was 5 years old, lived a more or less secular life till I was about 18 years old when I re-dedicated my life to Jesus. I briefly in my early 20's ministerd to youth and taught scripture to the yougsters at that time. Um...I kinda backslided in my mid 20's and never really got back on track with things, and now I'm just looking for a church home I can fellowship with and make friends with fellow believers. Guess thats it for now.

I praise Jesus that Dr. Ernest had been able to sniff you out early on with his True Christian™ scientific observations, because bein' an ignant woman (as all womens is), I mighta been deceived by you up in here! Yo stepsister is a dyke, you doesn't have a favorite Bible verse, you reads thangs that perverts had made up about our LORD centuries ago, and you think the Bible nothin' but paper on ink! Jesus be weepin'. I'mma pray that you find Him and accept His love into yo heart.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. - Matthew 23:15
They a special place in Hell for folk that teach falsehoods about Jesus, especially when they be taught to chillrens.

You didn't backslid, because you was never "on track" in the first place. I know thass right. Shoot.
Hooray for Jesus!
I sure you had said this meaning to mock us, but nonetheless I feels compelled to shout out AMEN!! Praise the Lord!

"He went on CNN and he laughed at us, and he said, 'They'll never get me because Allah will protect me. Allah will protect me.' Well, you know what? I knew that my God was bigger than his. I knew that my God was a real God and his was an idol." - Lt. General William G. Boykin
Your right, I was prolly never on track in the first place, and thank you Sista Lateefah, please pray for me and my walk with the lord, please pray he opens mine eyes so that "the blind may see" and I find the true path to eturnal salvation that only trust in jesus and the holy blood of the lamb can provide. Thank you dear Sista.

Let us hope that you are entirely forthcoming here, as everything you say will be matched against your Department of Faith dossier to make sure that you aren't trying to deceive the Elect.

So you choose to let *others* do your service for you. I suppose you'd rather the terrorists win? I have news for you and all other democrats out there: the terrorists love you. Why do you guys just yearn for us to lose this War on Terror?
Unless I miss my guess, this is just a cop-out for not having read the Bible as much as you should have. I suggest you get your nose into a Bible before it is too late!
Oh, one verse thats been spinning around in my head lately is John 19:28-30.
First, your counting skills need work. I presume you went to a public school . I'm curious as to why you feel those verses are special (besides the fact that they are God-breathed)? Surely there are other verses where our Savior isn't being tortured on the cross before (temporarily) dying for the sins of all mankind?
Um...I read any version of the holy scriptures, they all pretty much say the same thing right, hard cover soft cover...dont really matter, just a bunch of paper with ink on it right?
Perhaps, but each has it's own use. Hardcover Bibles are best for use in admonishing sinners, as they deliver a much more satisfying smack to an uppity child's backside or on the table of superstitious trash. Softcovers are rather useful in delivering to the unsaved, as they can be slipped into more crevasses.
Jeff, I suggest that while you are here on Jesus' Favorite Forums that you use His Name correctly. We here capitalize the Savior's title "Lord". Unless you are referring to what your servants address you has, in which case "lord" is just fine.

Thank you dear brother Ernest...I will work on everything you said, please pray for me to, that the "Lord" opens my heart to his teachings in every word of the bible that "God" has declared and I stop living in my heathen sinful ways.
You will not mock me, sir. The Bible, as God's Word, is also to be capitalized. Watch your words here, young whipper-snapper, or face the consequences.
I'm sorry bother Ernest, I try not to sound like I'm mocking, its just so hard to relay the true sentments of the heart in an electronic forum were you cant see a person face to face and look into there eyes and have an idea of weather they are being sincere or not. Believe me when I say, if the church and God say...then I obey, and thats the honest heart felt truth.

GLORY then, Satan has lost another soul for his infernal rape rooms! Have you contacted the Church office and set up a tithing schedule?
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.
Good day Mr Jeffgothro. Very unusual name you have there if I may say so.
I love a man who smokes a Pipe. It's a sign of Manliness and I think that Jesus must have been a Pipe Smoker.
Tell me, which Bible do you study?
What's your favourite Verse?
