Giovanna, even though I currently live here in Iowa with my fellow brothers and sisters of Landover Baptist Church, I am originally from Southern California myself and do maintain a condo down in San Clemente for summer holidays.

I understand that a young woman going to college will be quite confused on what to believe. She is surrounded by liberal atheists who want to brainwash you. I believe you are a victim of your environment.

I sincerely urge you to read about my Ladies of the Lord Bible Ministry, since it is aimed at young women just like you in your situation. I am confident that if I was able to work one-on-one with you, you would find yourself opening up a part of you you've never done before. And that hole would be filled by me, filling you with the Love of Christ.

Thank you for being generous. However, I am originally from rural Illinois. I moved to Los Angeles California for school, and have since then graduated. There are no holes to fill, but once again thank you. I don't feel I am a victim of environment, as I was an Atheist long before moving to California.

But what is this reason? Most likely, you have encountered many hateful people who called themselves Christians without realizing that they are false Christians. You have not yet experienced Christianity to its fullest.

I wasn't threatening you with the arrival of Non-Believers, I was responding to a question I was asked as to why I was here.

They would be most welcome. I think that all of the pastors here would be more than happy to guide them into the direction of God.

This forum is really for people who search for Christianity as God intended it, not as a way for corrupted people intended it. Do you think it is surprising that rich people refer to God so frequently even though they will surely go to Hell? It is simply spiritual corruption.

Why not get down on your knees and clasp your hands together and scream out "Lord, I am a sinner, will you please breathe into me!!" It only takes 15 seconds to do this. Why not take the gamble and spend 15 seconds of your life on this? If God does not exist, you will have wasted 15 seconds... if God does exist, you may have gained an eternity........

Granted, I could have read more about what your religion was about just by lurking, since this is a public site, however; that would have prevented me from posting in the event I have an opinion.

I joined as a member, as I stated in my first post, because I was interested in learning more. I am not at all thinking about converting. I'm just a curious person.

I was told that this isn't a debate forum, and I'm not debating. I have been answering questions posted in a thread I originally posted. The reason I posted this thread was because of this statement in the Welcome email: We'd like to recommend that you make your first post in the "introductions" section of the forum, so that we can welcome you True Christian™ style.

I have not called anyone any names, I have capitalized the proper letters in various words to make sure to not offend anyone and I haven't used any profane language.

If I was given an Infraction because I said "You can expect quite the invasion soon to be honest", it is completely unjustifiable. I was merely letting you know that your website has gotten a lot of negative attention lately, and there are many irritated liberals.

I am aware that none of you care about the opinions of Liberals, but it was just a heads up.

And, as for the name calling. That's really unnecessary. If you are unaware, cyberbullying, cyber harassment, slander and defamination laws are strict. It's the internet, you never know who you're talking to.

I haven't been an Atheist my entire life, I was raised Catholic in an Italian and Greek family. I believed in God for some time but not in the Catholic sense. I stopped believing when I began to question my life, my friends, my family and pretty much everything in it.

I'm a 22 year old female abstract artist and I live in a home I own (and is fully paid for) in the Hollywood Hills with 3 cars in the garage and a flawless wardrobe. I have no problem with people having money. However, the reason I am rich is because I have a great education, great business skills and I am very personable.


I figured I'd be called a slut here and someone would probably try to convert me at one point. Guess I was partially right so far.

Yes but growing up Catholic/Greek Orthodox is pretty much tantamount to atheism. Those "religions" have more in common with atheism and Satanism than Christianity, so this just reaffirms my belief you are simply a product of your own environment. But the difference between you and I is that I earned my money by bringing souls to the Lord. How did you earn yours? By exploiting rich pretentious people who want to look "cool".

Look up the definition of Scoffed, then compare it to what I said. If you infer something other than exactly what it says, you might need to brush up on your vocabulary. Yes, I own 3 cars. Very nice cars I might add. Of course there are needy people around me. But what do they need with a Luxury Car, when I already give them money and provide food to them? What would they do with it because they cannot maintain it. It could take them about 500 miles on a full tank, and after that, it would have no use. So instead of me keeping it, valuing it and having a use for it, I should give it away to someone who will turn it into a pile of garbage. Real intelligent.

I could make the same arguement for the Health Care Reform. If there are sick people in your country, why don't you pay slightly higher taxes to help get them healthcare and prevent denied coverage for ill people? Why don't you stop buying all unnecessary luxuries in your life, and donate them to schools in Africia?

Abstract art is a lot more than something Jackson Pollock would have created. I don't just drop paint on to canvases. If you could look past my beliefs and exterior you might be able to see the passion and emotion I put into my work.
