I am new

Im not currently a christian and would really like to be convinced if Jesus is the only way to a positive afterlife. Please don't come at me with quotes and judgements, and if your going to please don't post here I genuinly want to be comfertable with my religion and would appreiciate help if you aren't goin to help then don't scare me away. I was raised going to a christian church all my life so I know the basics but I just can't bring myself to fully accept all of it.


Please help i'm very confused

If the King James Version is the only translation that should ever be used, what version should be used by people around the world who do not speak and read English?

That's a good question. If the KJV is the only acceptable translation, then non-English readers around the world have a problem. They have no Bible.

Im sorry but that doesn't really help me and im not being very clear I suppose things like I don't understand a lot of scripture and I'd like help I've skimmed your forums and have found several arguments that are pulled straight from scripture that I can't bring myself to believe a just god would do, I'm not having a problem accepting Christ just scripture

That's a good question. If the KJV is the only acceptable translation, then non-English readers around the world have a problem. They have no Bible.

What kind of "problem" is that? God wants moon-speaking people to learn English so they can become Saved(r). Spending a couple years learning English is a small price to pay for eternal salvation, don't you think?

Accepting Christ but not Scripture doesn't make any sense. That's like saying you believe that Harry Potter exists but don't believe in the books.

These forums are a treasure-house of wisdom. There's no problem with lurking on the boards and learning more about Jesus Christ, the Bible, and True Christianity(tm). Give yourself a couple days mulling everything over, and I'm certain you will be overwhelmed with the beautiful truth that Landover Baptist presents that you will fall to your knees and accept Christ.

Actually many of your forums have brought me to question it more, Ill start with the original post I found here. It states that Obama is the antichrist and claims proof. I read it and found little bits of coincidence mixed with blatant ignorance and it was one of your more prestigious members. Do you really believe that Obama is gay would be my first question, because what I read said he was gay because he hadn't raped any white women yet. There are plenty more but lets just do this one at a time.

I don't think he's gay. I think he's raped plenty of white women, but because of his position of power, has forced his crimes to be covered up and the power elite work with him doing so.
