Hello to you Babtist Forum :)

I am a young woman, who is about to get married and my soon to be lawfully wedded husband recommended I checked out this site.
I am here to talk about my religion, God and how he found me, what he has done for me and does for me every day.
Also I study religion at the university and hope to one day find work in aspects of society where I can work with religion.

Nope, networking has never been his thing I guess.
He doesn't even like text messages, or talk over the phone, he tells me he would much rather talk to people in person. But then again I don't blame him. Text media has got it's shortcomings.

Goodluck to you in your upcoming engagement. What university is it that you attend?

What does "work with religion" mean?

Thank you Yes I do hope we'll be very happy together.
The university of Copenhagen, we call it KUA here. It's the most prestigious in the country, but then again, we're a very small country.
It means, I'd like to work in a church, or as a missionary, they take in practicants at charity orginisations to go abroad and tell people about Jesus.
I could also be a writer, or a consultant at firms with integration problems. There are a lot of different opportunities.

              A formal welcome.

Please tell us more about your religion, God and how He found you and what He does for you everyday.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

I wish the two of you all the happiness in the world. It's so refreshing to see a young lady who has remained a virgin.

Re: Hello to you Babtist Forum

I see myself as a christian. Studying religion I have been reading a lot of different texts about all sorts of different religions, but I have always believed in the Holy Bible. I always thought others might have good ideas and respect for that, but that doesn't make them right. Besides, for me it's always been like reading any other book, there are the good chapters and the bad ones, and you rule for one side or the other. The Bible struck me like a lightning, there were nothing that even resembeled to reading "any other book." So I became a christian, got babtised when I was fifteen.
I strongly believed that God saved my life, I have been near death 5 times in my short life, but somehow I have pulled through always. Just recently I got an angressive liver-decease and the doctors gave me 2 years to live, I had so many people praying for me and now, after a very long admition to the hospital, they've let me out and told me I will be well from March 1st.
                      Praise the Lord!

Not technically, if I go as a missionary, (I suppose that was your question?) We go as a team with a male leader, and I will work as an interpretor since I am about to learn latin as well as arabic, and spread the Word.

What will your husband's role be in all of these plans? Does he approve of your plans to "spread the Word?" What is the denomination of your church? You're not Mormons, are you?

You are not a Christian if you are a goth.

The Bible forbids females from teaching.

Why aren't you planning to be a good wife to your alleged fiancee instead of prancing around dangerous countries full of sand nigras who will rape a white woman faster than you can say "shish kabob!"?
                          Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

You can't be disregarding some chapters while accepting others. The Bible must be embraced as a whole, as it is God's Word ... all of it, not just some of it.

I am sorry to hear you were so ill; it is very good to hear that you are better now though. However -- and please don't think I am being mean, because I ask this in all sincerity -- why do you think God made you so sick in the first place? Was He punishing you, or did He make you sick in order to heal you down the line, as He does from time-to-time to show us how merciful He is?

However, it is wonderful that you were healed via the power of prayer, rather than that long and useless stay in hospital. Praise!
