Welcome to our friendly forum!

As a catholic you have already read parts of the Bible, so you have a little head start. What you have to do now is also read the rest of the Bible.

Some scripture about YOU!

Why you need to follow the entire Bible: 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"

If you're Catlick then what are you doing on God's favorite forum? Have you come here to learn God's true Word or to hinder the education of those of us who are sincerely striving to become True Christians?

May I ask a couple questions? At which Independent Baptist Church were you baptized? How often do you read your King James Bible? What's your favorite part of the house to clean?

No, just wanted to read and understand the opinions of you "true" Christians.

I've been attending St Michael's Roman Catholic church. My mom used to read the King James Bible to my siblings and I. Cleaning rhe living-room is the easiest.

If you want to understand our beliefs, simply read the KJV and scrutinize every passage. Unlike Catholics, we take God's word seriously, and we don't omit passages that are controversial to modern liberal society.

Here's an example:
1 Timothy 2:11-14-"Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.For Adam was first formed, then Eve.And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."

God tells us women are to be taught by men, therefore it is so. In modern society, other "Christian" religions decide to ignore passages that are "out of date" like this, and go against God's word. Catholicism is notorious for this sin.

I suggest you wise up and lose the Catholic title; aim for being a TRUE Christian™.

Well, I can somewhat understand their confusion. The Bible forbids men to wear dresses, it is an abomination, but papist priests are required to wear dresses, their solution: female priests. Unfortunately women aren't allowed to talk in church, so I'm not sure how that is working out for them.

The best solution however is to make men wear men's clothing.

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

That's bad enough, but it obviously goes much deeper. Let me restate the quote:

Women are not considered subservient to men in Catholic families, services, etc. Now, back in the Middle Ages, they WERE. What does that tell you? It says to me that the Catholics change the way they do things as society becomes more liberal, so that they don't lose followers. Here at Landover, we stick to our fundamentals and don't change them for ANYBODY(unless God commands it).
