Hi everybody. I'll not lie to you guys. I am not strong in faith. My primary motivation for becoming a member of this site is to seek answers for the many questions I am presented with. I am not trying to flame or otherwise insult members of this site, but I do request you treat me with patience as I am only trying to learn and understand about God.

Faith is to accept what is unknown as factual without objective supporting evidence. If you cannot say that you accept Christian traditions and views of God or dogma, perhaps you should consider another approach? If you want an interesting view of the notion of divinity that can challenge your preconcieved notions, I'd suggest you read the Upanishads. However, if you think this universe might be rather less designed than Christianity or Theism would imply, try reading Sartre's Being and Nothingness or perhaps my own Genealogy of Morals.
