Looking to be saved

Hello friends, I am nigra from Ontario, Canada. I moved to the states in late 2007 looking for a better education and likewise found the Lord here in Akron, Ohio!

My name is Josiah Henson and I am looking to be saved. Recently I have married a young White Anglo-Saxon Protestant whom I met at my local baptist church; The Grace Baptist Church. I plan on having several sons with her over the next few years, maybe a daughter as well .

Whatever the Lord wishes of me.

I work as a Finacial Agent for Sandyville State Farm Insurance and in my free time I enjoy writing, painting, and recreational baseball with the community. With the help of the internet I have ascertained and read the KJV1611 Holy Bible after finding your site some months back. My all-time favorite verse is still, Jonah 3:1 "And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying.."

Though I understand most of what I have read, surely I still have much to learn and pray for further guidance from good folks like you all.

Can I still be saved even if I have the devil's black skin? And where do I stand with you blessed white folk? Am I ALMOST equal to you guys?

Because everyone knows watermelon is great for the skin. I swear, sir, one time I had a gash, my grandma put a piece of seedless watermelon on it, and she blew on it and it felt so good. Is watermelon so ungodly?

Urghh. Don't you realize the Lord hates race-mixing? I'm certain it is just a little mistake you made in your life, but I advise you to undo it before the Lord strikes you in flaming vengeance!

Of course you can be saved. Look at Miss Vavoline: she was a negro once, and she succesfully graduated in the ex-negro program of Miss Betty Bowers.

And you are, in fact, equal to us, only your position in society is different: God wants you to serve the white man. That doesn't mean you are less of a person; it's the natural way that some people are slaves, while other people are masters in society. God just thought it would be more easy for us if these different groups of people had a certain color, for easy recognition.
