I work on a seal farm once in a while. It's not really a farm, you just go out and hunt seals. HELLO! This is like free money.

Good one, it makes sense in an abstract way.

I was wondering, do Baptists sacrifice virgins? There is an old belief that a Virgin might stop the volcanic eruption. To save my dogs and seal fur I might need a real virgin in the next few days. Considering that I'm in Iceland there is a slim chance I will find a real virgin.

I'm ready to pay in seal fur if there is anyone out there with a real virgin.

Sacrificing virgins into volcanoes is Mayan or Aztec or something, not Christian. Besides, there's no virgins in Iceland. Not since Bjork made Icelandicans think ugly chicks were attractive.

Just take the boat and go, we'll work out the details when you get here. My ex-eskimo wife really wants some of that sealskin.

Levi, I apologize. I don't go around offending people consciously. Like I said, I still haven't met any good Christians IRL that I like or believe. Maybe this forum will help me? I have found the truth in the New testament but I have been raised by pagans...Give me a chance.

I have not had the pleasure of being raised with the Bible in my home but Jesus has always appealed to me. Jesus had humour and a clean heart. He followed god's word even though his village and family questioned his word. He never looked back or questioned the faith; he was the faith in living flesh.

The New Testament is closer to god, as I sense him. I am in no way talking down to the old testament but it has not connected to me.

Funny you should mention that. The Book of Hebrews deals specifically with that very issue.

Chapter 12 verses 5-8

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Don't be a bastard of God. Be a Son.
