    Re: Greetings

Infant Baptism is not right, because you have to be able to understand what you are being baptized for. It was started by the Catholic church to make parents feel better about the death of children. The same goes with the age of accountability. You will find neither of these ideas in the Bible.

PS. Could you explain to me how a Baptist Church believes that baptizing is unholy or papist?

      Please read THIS thread.

I assumed nothing. YOU told us that you were Baptised as an infant. What church did this "baptism" take place in?

There is a right way and a wrong way to baptize. Having a pederast fleck some water on an infant's head does not count. Here are some examples of a real baptism - i.e., Believer's Baptism™.

Believer's Baptism™ by immersion is absolutely essential to Salvation®! Consider the following Scripture:

        John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

        John 3:23
And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

        Matthew 3:5-6
Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

        Acts 8:38
And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

And many, many more... Nowhere in the Bible does it mention sprinkling... Particularly by child molesting priests.
        II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J.
