Hey there. I'm a Catholic, and I attend St. Francis Cabrini, in my home town in Colorado. I work as a programmer and tech consultant for a small college close to where I live. I am avid video gamer, and I also like to hunt and fish and other outdoorsy stuff like that.
Anyway, I stumbled upon this forum one day, and I picked up a pretty fierce anti-Catholic feeling pretty quickly. I am hopping to discuss with everyone here exactly where the dislike for Catholics comes from. I'd also like to add that I'm not here to flame you guys or anything like that.

That's an easy question to answer. You see we worship God, we follow the Holy KJV right down to the letter.
Cathreliks worship Mary( Ya know the Mama of Jesus) and there is more oh so much more. Tell me why would you even want to tell people that you are a cathrelik, when the head of your cult is a known pedophile?

Actually, Catholics do worship God. We do not worship Mary in the same way one would worship God, however we do hold her very highly, because of course, she was chosen by God to give birth to Christ, I don't understand why it would be wrong to praise such an important woman.

Benedict is not a pedophile, I'd like to you to show me some proof that he is.

That's not the point. While I don't condone homosexuality in any way, I feel that people who live that lifestyle have the right to live that way. However, fearing homosexuals, and trying to punish them is not right. Homosexuals are sinners, but they are not monsters, and there's no reason to hate or fear them. I am not a homosexual and I am not a pedophile.
