    An introduction to Me :)

Hello, my name is Charley and I am 18 years old. I am a non-denominational Christian.

I am a lesbian. I have chemical imbalance im my brain that makes me sexually attracted to the same sex instead of the opposite sex. This is something I was born with and CANNOT change.

I go to school, get good grades, help my family, and also currently looking for a job to help my family further. I always think about my family before I think about myself.

I do not believe that God HATES anyone or anything. I believe He loves all of his children, unconditionally. God is a perfect being and cannot hate.

I do not believe that Christianity is solely based on someones interpretation of the Bible. I believe that Christianity is based on the goodness in everyone and acheiveing world peace.

I do not believe that anyone has the right to judge anyone else based on their actions or beliefs. God is going to judge us in the end and His judgement is the only that's ever going to matter.

I believe that if you just believe in God, you will be saved.

I am very excited to hear everyone's comments on who I am and what I believe.

    Re: An introduction to Me

Why do you have ashes on your forehead? Are you some sort of hellbound catlicker?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

She said she's non-denominational Christian not, not Catholic. I know its hard sometimes, but some times its good to pay attention to people.

Anyway, Charley, speaking from experience, you are in for a barrage of hatred and bigotry for posting here. Don't let these people get to you though, they've been led astray from a righteous path.
Romans 13:8-10: Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law...if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

Speaking of paying attention, maybe you could look at that avatar. That's a catlicker on ash Wednesday.

On one hand, she claims to be a non-denom. On the other, there's clear evidence of papist witchery going on.

Thanks Wrathgarr. I am aware of the hatred I am about experience. And just for the man that you speaking of, those ashes on my head are in the form of a cross. I was at church on ASH Wednesday. They did a cleansing ceremony and the ashes were apart of that ceremony.

You admit that you reject the fact that the Bible is the word of God.

That means that you base your beliefs on....What exactly?

Just whatever pops into your head? Do you think you're a prophet? That you are God?

What is the authority behind your beliefs?
Disagree? By failing to register and debate me, you prove that liberals are factless frauds who only persuade through intimidation. To prove otherwise, debate me!

I wasn't aware that anyone outside of the papists did that. I know we certainly don't follow the heretical practice of lent.

                As an example:

Christians believe in the Bible. When they we to know something, we consult the Bible. When there is a dissagreement, we see who the Bible agrees with. If someone says God wants them to kill someone, we quote the 10 commandments : "thou shalt not murder".

Atheists believe in the scientific method. When they want to know something, they trust empiracism, peer-review, and all of the rest of that gobblegook. When they have a disagreement, they do experiments and peer-reviewed debates, It's absurd, but at least they have a system. If someone says God wants them to kill someone, they reject that belief for lack of peer-reviewed evidence.

But you believe in....Whatever feels right? When you want to know something....You just daydream and say God told you? How do you know your personal beliefs are right and others are wrong? What if someone else, who also doesn't believe the Bible, decides God wants them to kill you? Without the Bible, or science, how can you say they are wrong?
Disagree? By failing to register and debate me, you prove that liberals are factless frauds who only persuade through intimidation. To prove otherwise, debate me!

                  We'll see about that.

You cannot be a Christian and a lesbian. They are mutually incompatible. To be a Christian you must follow the Bible and the Bible tells us that homosexuality is an abomination (worthy of death, even). You need to stop listening to the homosexual agenda and liberal media's lies about "chemical imbalances" and whatever scientific hokey-pokey they come up with to trick you into not admitting that it's a choice entirely up to you.

I go to school, get good grades, help my family, and also currently looking for a job to help my family further. I always think about my family before I think about myself.
                  Good for you.

I do not believe that God HATES anyone or anything. I believe He loves all of his children, unconditionally. God is a perfect being and cannot hate.
That's not what the Bible says.

The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
                  Psalm 5:5-6

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth.
                  Psalm 11:5

I do not believe that Christianity is solely based on someones interpretation of the Bible. I believe that Christianity is based on the goodness in everyone and acheiveing world peace.
Correct in the sense that 2 Peter 1:20 tells us Scripture is not open to private interpretation. It must be read for what it is -- word for word and literally. But, I don't know where you get the "goodness of everyone" and "acheiveing [sic] world peace" from. Care to quote the book/chapter/verse that supports your point of view?

I do not believe that anyone has the right to judge anyone else based on their actions or beliefs. God is going to judge us in the end and His judgement is the only that's ever going to matter.
Wrong. We as True Christians(tm) are commanded to judge others.

Leviticus 19:15 .... but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

I believe that if you just believe in God, you will be saved.
You're more or less right. Faith, not works, saves you. But don't think that just because you "believe" in God is going to necessarily save you from eternal hellfire. The true test of faith is living out your faith and following all of the Bible. You are not just paying lip service to the Lord, but actually servicing Him.

You can also look at it this way: If you really believe in God, you will follow Him. And to follow Him, you must follow the Bible.

Neither do we. We don't interpret the Bible; we just read it.

You have some very valid points in both of your posts.

But sweetie, there is no right and wrong when it comes to what you believe in. I don't believe that anyone else's beliefs are right or wrong either. Everyone has the right to believe in whatever they want to. God gave us all free will for a reason.

I don't believe that Bible is the sole basis of Christianity because other True Christians have told me other things that do not exactly follow the Bible. If God loves all of His children, why does He hate homosexuals? If God is perfect and supposed to be the complete opposite of Satan, why does He hate anything? If we were created in God's vision and he is perfect, did he make a mistake when He gave us free will and made certain groups of people that go against the Bible? There are many more questions where those came from, but they are just a few examples that mostly matter to me.

I look into my heart to make a decision in whether something is right or wrong. I use my own judgements and morals to decide on whether or not I want to or don't want to do something. I don't believe that I am prophet or that I am God. God's in my heart, and that's where I go to when I need help.

And lastly, if one of the ten commandments says "thou shalt not murder", then why does it say in the Bible that Christians have a right to murder homosexuals? If one of the ten commandments says "love thy neighbor", then why do we hate at all? "True Christians" say they want to bring peace to the world by killing all of those who are non-christians!

My beliefs don't need to have a system to be beliefs.
