    Hello,
    My name is not important.
    I am a musician, artist and programmer. I worship God and am very fond of the night. I love crosses and get sunburns easily. I am a christian and I see the bible to be a unique historical document. I follow the ten commandments and respect morals, but do not feed into other peoples beliefs and interpretations. I have a beautiful girlfriend, but you would call me effeminate. I like cute things and dark things... things that make you wonder and things that test you. My hair is longish my clothing modest.

    We follow the entire Bible, except insofar as a particular law has been explicitly identified as set aside or fulfilled (e.g., animal sacrifices).

        Well, my friend, this is what the Bible teaches about darkness:

        John 12:35
        Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.


        1 John 2:11
        But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

        And long hair is an abomination before God as well:

        1 Corinthians 11:14-15:
        Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

        And finally, God's opinion on effeminate people:

        1 Corinthians 6:9-10:

          I do not see the KJV as being preserved. It was transcribed by man, then later rewritten. It is impossible for an imperfect being to scribe the words of a perfect being verbatim.

          In regards to long hair, I am pretty sure that most all depictions and descriptions portrey our Saviour as having long hair. We wouldn't be suggesting that He is shameful are we?

          Yes, God can and does. However what are you suggesting from that quote as being sinful? God created all three of those things and gave me the free will to pursue them.

          Yes, the Bible teaches about darkness. In the context of the passages, darkness is equated to being evil. So I do not see it as dark being sinful, but evil as being sinful. If it was darkness that is sinful, then having an absence of light is against God, who created the Night and Day. Dark and Light, Evil and Good, not Night and Day or regards to colour.

          Again, long hair, descriptions of Jesus. Let us go a bit further with something more tangible. A church member, "True Christian" http://www.landoverbaptist.net/member.php?u=17192 is shown in his profile picture with long hair and an untrimmed beard. Therefore, by the word of God, he is unfit to walk the kingdom of Heaven. This is an evident Relativist Fallacy.

          No, I don't claim to be a Christian. I am a Christian. It is not my intention to fool anyone. I, as well, am not a vampire lunatic... firstly I do not feed on humans and I do have a soul, as for lunatic I do not meet the requirements to be one of those. I am not dark because it is cool, but because the beauty of the night appeals to me. There is so much in the night that daydwellers don't get to see.

            God has promised to preserve His words:

            Psalm 12:6-7: The words of the LORD [are] pure words: [as] silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

            As for whether it is possible, it is possible if God wills it. To suggest otherwise is to deny God's omnipotence:

            Matt. 19:26: But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

            Not in the least. Find some "depictions and descriptions" that rank with the Bible as being Divinely inspired, and then we'll talk.
