May the fellowship of Christ be with us all and provide us with the strength and fortitude to survive this, our time of trials.

Fellow Christians, His Holiness has asked me to undertake a fact-finding and fellowship mission on behalf of the Vatican. I am meeting a large number of Church leaders here in your country, and conducting wide ranging ecumenical talks. We are aware that we have sometimes been perceived as a little ungenerous to our fellow Christians, and His Holiness is anxious to build bridges and hopefully heal any outstanding wounds with our esteemed colleagues in other parts of the faith.
Recent attacks by the media on the Vatican are, of course, completely unjustified, but we feel that it is important, during these troubled times, to band together in Christ and not allow these misunderstandings to drive wedges between us.
I will be travelling through your state incognito, on the advice of my security consultants, but I am anxious to meet with all church leaders in your area, so i hope that it will be possible to arrange a visit. Perhaps I could say a mass at your church? This would offer a chance for us to get to know each other better and hopefully realise that we are not so different. I am also anxious to build bridges with the young people of your parish. I am sure you must have many fine young men, and women, embarking on a life of praise and service to the Lord, and I would be happy to meet with them personally during my visit, and offer them spiritual instruction in our ways.

I will write back when details of the trip have been finalised.

Forgive me sister. Our customs are a little different in Vatican city and I am unused to being spoken to by a female member of the opposite gender, let alone questioned on matters of Church business. I can see, however, that your customs may be different and I will try to accommodate them as best I can.
His Holiness felt that the mission is of such urgency and importance that he decided against the normal procedures pending my visit. Consequently Father Lester may not yet be aware of my visit. Perhaps you could invite Father Lester to contact me via this excellent communications technology, and I will be happy to instruct him on the correct etiquette and protocols - such is my burdensome duty as nuncio.

Dear Brother,
can we not talk as almost equals? Surely there is no need for threats of violence between men of faith such as we? You must surely see that the rumours about abuse are the concoction of a liberal media anxious to smear the Church, and almost certainly not a completely true reflection of activities in every parish.
Why, I have never been convicted of any such abuse and neither have many of my colleagues. Vile rumours about a court case being dropped because of diplomatic immunity are simply attempts to smear my good name in the community and do not reflect what actually went on with the boy in question at all.

of course I am aware of Jesus and his message. The Catholic church is, after all, the church that has a line directly back to our Lord, and I am, in a very real sense, a descendant of Paul, who you will recall was the rock upon which Jesus built his Church.
Catholics do not lie my good sister. Any such accusation would be brought before His Holiness, and as you know any decision made is infallible, so I can state infallibly that I am not a liar.

Hmm, I had heard the Catholic priests consider both males and females to be an opposite gender to themselves, but I did not wish to believe that to be true. It is sad that the Vatican considers pedophile to be a gender on par with male and female.

did our lord not say 'suffer the little children to come unto me'?
I obey our Lord in all things and it is not my place to question his holy wisdom. Vatican scientists are at the cutting edge of research into gender, and whilst it has not yet been established that women are genetically incapable of becoming priests, there is confidence amongst the Cardinals that this is just a matter of time. Women within the holy church lead full and happy lives, arranging flowers in the church, caring for the priest and organising whist drives. Some even choose to become nuns to pursue their vocation - although this should not, of course, be compared to the true priestly vocation.

I have nothing against women, I am just unused to being in their presence and find it disconcerting that you are allowed to speak without being spoken to.
Still, I shall adjust with the help of the lord.

I wish I could have warned you, but this forum is a hotbed of Catholic hate, as you can see now. The dislike the Baptists have for us is based upon misinformations and misunderstanding, I hope that you can heal the rift between we Catholics, and the Baptists here.
Don't let these hate-filled people make you think that hate is the way of America, as there are plenty of loving Catholics and other Christians here.

Ahh, my son, you have been fooled by the lies of Luther and the reformation. You probably think that Jesus referred to Peter? Of course this is false. In the original bible, held in secure storage in the crypts of St Paul's Cathedral, the true words of Christ appear.
Luther was anxious to distance himself from the true church and what better way than to change the real founder of the Church - the first apostle from whom all Popes are descended. This was later repeated and printed in your new versions of the bible.
The truth is that Paul of Tarsus was the first and only rock, and the real linear ancestor of our Holy Father. Peter was a Lutheran fabrication.
This should be obvious, when you consider that we still carry on the traditions of Paul. Why do you think we have no women priests? Paul was quite clear on the matter.
One day the archive will be opened, but until then we must maintain this holy truth within the walls of the Vatican.
