I am new to this forum and was quick to receive 2 infractions for the going ons in this thread:

Let me point out that the questions were directed at me and i was only answering them honestly. I was not sparking up any unneccessary and heated debate on purpose. Just answering questions.

I am a 19 year old male. I was brought up as a Christian(Roman Catholic). I live in Sydney, Australia. I am now an Atheist.

Having said all that i would like to point out that in the very Bible you all strictly abide by it does state that you should be willing to answer any questions regarding your faith with open arms and that you should spread the word of God. If talking and discussing such things as was discussed in the thread mentioned is considered prohibited debate then I guess i am sorry!! How can we then talk about stuff?

As Pastor Zeke pointed out, this forum is about the teachings of the Landover Baptist Church. That is to say, the Bible is God's Word.

So, we can talk with you about your atheist views. But, we need to have you quote Scripture so we know you are not just working off of things you think you have heard people say about the Bible. That is, we want to know you have actually read at least some of the Bible.

I am very confident there are numerous other better examples, and I do remember one passage to say something along the lines of one must be willing to answer questions of faith at all times but i can't find the exact passage. If you could find it out it that would be great.

I am going to assume this "nature-worshipping" is in reference to the Earth Day thread? In which case i will point out once again that it is not a day of worship at all. I don't understand how you and others can say it is a day of worship when it is clearly not. It isn't a pagan festival, religious people join in on Earth Day too, evidently not Baptists however.

All over the world religion is slowly dieing, my stay here(it will perhaps be a short stay) is one that could turn me towards religion or further steer me away from it.

I do keep an open mind and am very honest about all things, so please show me the respect i show you.

Tell me, what do you think this Church is? Your own personal library, with True Christians™ as your menservants?

Look around you. True Christians™ here put hours of work into lengthy sermons - at the Church, to the community, and on these Church forums too. It is a full time job for many. Tell me how Landover is not preaching The Word. Tell me, with all the resources for you to use and years of work gone into this forum, how you can say that your questions are not answered. You will not get special treatment just because you demand it. You are only a special snowflake when you prove yourself penitent and worthy of our time.

We glorify the Word of GOD here. This is a house of GOD. This is our corner of the world, and while unsaved are welcome to browse and voice their questions, they are still unsaved and still unwelcome until they express the desire to better themselves, respectfully.
