    Hey

    Sup guys and gals?

    I go to my Catholic Church every Sunday, and just wanted to learn more about your religion.

    For real though...Do you guys really believe the Earth is flat? That the mentally challenged are all spawns of Satan? That homosexuals are going to destroy mankind? That rock music and "goths" are also spawns of Satan?

    I'm pretty confused about all this. How can our All-loving, all-knowing God have such a hatred for anyone?

    Do you reaaaally think he just sends retards to hell? They didn't have a choice in their creation...

    and is asthma really a retardation? Does one have to be 100% healthy to get into heaven, or will a cold be my condemnation?

    Peace guys. I hope you can clarify some of this for me.

                      You'll be a lot less confused once you abandon your preconceived notions of Who God should be in favor of the Bible's truths about Who God is:

                      Romans 9:13: As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

                      Romans 9:20-24: Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed [it], Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

                      Again, look to the Bible for answers:

                      Deut. 7:15: And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all [them] that hate thee.

                      Which part of "all" needs to be "interpreted correctly"?
                      This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

                          Maybe they seek refuge in a Real Church and want to learn about a faith based on facts, not myths.
