    My introduction

    Greetings.

I am Sklog Oontermann, and I live and work in Flin Flon, Manitoba, Canada.

I am a lumberjack now, but I used to work at the smelter. Sorry about my somewhat scary appearance, I was seriously injured fighting a drunk and satan possessed native type up here a few years ago. I was exonerated for killing the rat, and it would not bother me a bit to do it again.

As for church, I was home schooled and home churched as I grew up in a remote clearing 200 miles north of here. Not that I would be comfortable in most churches in Canada these days. I have spent much time looking for something I consider to be a True Faith, and I know in my heart Landover Baptist is it.

I consider it a privilege to be here, and I already strongly feel God's presence in what you good folks are doing here.

    Welcome friend.

Hope you find what you need here. This site has been a blessing in my life.

Happy to meet some one who has been 'tried by fire' and has proven himself against some of the scum we share this world with.

Be comforted knowing that drunk carried your last punch all the way to Satan's fiery lake!
Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unGodly among them of all their unGodly deeds which they have unGodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which unGodly sinners have spoken against him.

Praise Jesus and welcome. Tell us about your family. Are you a married man?

Sorry about your appearance, but God never gives us more than we can handle, buddy.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

            Welcome, brother!

Your father must be quite a man. I give my sons blessings each morning before going to work, but to conduct my own Services would be quite daunting.

I rejoice that the LORD has brought you here. If True Religion is what you seek, you can end your search now. Praise Him!
            II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Re: My introduction

                  I appreciate the warm welcome.

I haven't met Paul Bunyan yet, seems like he was a Minnesoter. We have some legendary types up here in Flin Flon, though.

My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 99, verse 9:

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

Since I was home churched as a kid, and God Fearing Holy churches are very scarce in Canada, it is just me and my King James. And now Landover, which I find as a welcome blessing.

My wife died some years ago while birthing my 3rd son. My boys are grown now and work for me.

That's good to know. We get a lot of uppity Eskimos in here who like to boss people around and push their socialized atheism on decent Christians.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Why you dear, sweet man. So are you lookin' to remarry? Are you boys ready to marry?

How cold does it get up there, anyhow?

PROOF: Atheists are too stupid to understand the Bible!

Proverbs 13:24(KJV): "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes."

Galatians 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

When I first learned to read, my dad had me open his Bible to a random page and had me close my eyes and pick a verse. He had me memorize it and I have held onto it for all these years.

There is a little knoll on the edge of the clearing where I grew up and after that we started referring to it as Holy Hill. The verse just has a special meaning to me with my dad, and growing up, and our house out in the woods.
