    Seeking return...

    God's Blessing on all True Christians herein;

    I have returned to the fellowship of Landover Baptist Church after many months of visiting my father during the illness, which took this life.

    I am confident that as a devout and humble servant of the Lord Jesus, my father is with him now.

    I shall read over what I have missed in the intervening time (I was last here in October) and endeavor to comment when I might be of use.
    Yours in Service - Solomon

    1 Kings 7:14: He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.

        Welcome back, Brother!
        Sweet Lord Jesus,
        I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
        Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
        Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
        Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
        Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
        Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
        Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

        Amen.

          God's Blessing;

          I thank you all for your welcome.

          The past several months were filled with hope and sadness, but I believe that I am out the other side of the ordeal wiser, stronger and more faithful.

            Welcome back. I hope your father was Saved(r) or else your time spent with him was a waste.
            Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
            Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
            Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
            Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
            Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
            Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

              Re: Seeking return...

              Thank you all for the welcome;

              I do believe, in my understanding of what Landover doctrine, under the 1611 King James Version, means, that my father was, indeed, saved.

              My further thanks for the concern over his status with the Lord.

              A thing I learned from him is that one can find great strength in faith and belief.

              I am still looking over what has been written since October. I trust that in another week or so I shall be better able to write cogently upon the matters, which have been discussed.

                "Cogently" [sigh] Brother Kane are you married? I do so love a man who uses words like "cogently". "Lucid" would also serve to turn my head.

                I had previously thought that perhaps the Lord intended to espouse me to Brother The Hand on the grounds that I would not have to change my monogram, but now I will pray to receive further word on the subject.

                Welcome back to our fellowship, my sympathies on the lost of your patriarchal unit.

                Somewhat Sincerely,

                Handmaiden
