    Hello. :) Here to Learn.

Hi, I'm Fuu. I joined this website to learn about views different from my own. I plan to be as respectful as possible so that I can understand as much as possible about this community.

    Pleased to meet you all.

I was raised Protestant Methodist. I'm not sure on the Baptist's views of Methodists, you probably think they're wishy-washy. But they are a wonderful community and a good place to grow up. I had pretty bad social anxiety when I was younger, though, large crowds made me nervous - and my church is huge! So I've become a bit distanced.

I've been going about experiencing as many viewpoints as I can since then. I want to learn about people, because I don't understand so much. I went to some Catholic churches (scary, I felt very unwelcome) and one Presbyterian (big church, and I wasn't happy there, either). I talked to some atheists, but they were rude, insulting, and closed-minded, so I left them.

Baptist is one thing I haven't learned about, and I'm particularly interested because everything is so different.

This is one of may things that separate us from other so called Christian beliefs. We follow the word of God as told to us in the Holy KJV1611 bible, with out fail without question. Ever word every letter, no interpretation, no acceptations. Praise Jesus.
Tell me son what is your favorite Bible verse?

          Re: Hello. Here to Learn.

I'm afraid I don't know what bible these are from, so they are probably listed differently in your version. I have quite a few written down somewhere in a booklet, unfortunately it is at my other home and not available right now, so I can only list ones that I have memorized.

Those would be 1 Corinthians 13:4, Proverbs 11:22, Proverbs 11:2, Proverbs 12:18... I would have to look the others up if I wanted to find them.

No, I'm Caucasian. I made that name up when I was a child. I've been using it ever since, although it is childish.

I'm not very comfortable discussing my age over the internet, but I'm over 18 and under 35. Perhaps accounting for my childishness.

These things also could work in your favor, Fuulie. Your Childish or child like behavior as it is said in the bible:

Luke 18:15-17 People were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they sternly ordered them not to do it. But Jesus called for them and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it."

Matthew 18:1-5 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, " Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" He called a child, whom he put among the, and said, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

                        ------------------

See Fuulie! The Lord seeing all your childish ways has lead you here to be saved!!!
