    Greetings

I am so happy to see such a wonderful Christian site. I am a retired nurse and a stay at home mom now, with two children and a wonderful hardworking husband.
After being single and on my own for so many years, I decided it was not the right path and chose to change my chaotic life by finding a solid church and a good Christian husband. Blessed be.
My favorite of all Biblical quotes is Mark 12:30-31..........
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." So nice to meet you all

    Re: Greetings

Hello. Do you have your husband's permission to be here? What is your finest pie you bake?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Oh YES! My husband is delighted I have found such a forum. You see, my FIL is also a minister (not Baptist though) and I fled his congregation. It was terrible there.
      Thank you for asking.
I make several types of pie, but lemon meringue is my best.

You fled your husband's father's church? I'm sure there's a story behind that.

A nice lemon meringue is delicious.

My husband's father is a pastor for the Assembly of God church. Most of it I could get through, but when they started speaking in tongues and rolling about on the floor, I really got quite frightened. I can't imagine that Jesus would be connected to all that in any way Am I wrong?

Oh my goodness!! Please forgive me, that was totally unintentional.
Yes I once was a follower of wicca, back in my horribly notorious pre-marital years. But I have turned that all around now and am following the road of a true Christian. I never use those phrases anymore, it must have been sub-conscious. I am so sorry if I offended anyone.
              Contritely yours.

I don't know which satanic interpretation of The Holy Word you are quoting, but it certainly isn't the God Written KJV1611.

                Your quote should read as:

                Mark 12:

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

                ----

I do appreciate that these errors can be made as I too made one myself as to quoting verse on my arrival. We however MUST be mindful not to quote incorrectly.

You certainly have been around the unsaved and unsavoury traps, Kimmie Jae Walters.

It is wonderful you have seen the error of your ways and decided to receive God's Gift of Love.

I hope to see you around the place and perhaps we can swap pie recipes.

                There's Jesus here,

                Down here my sins forgiven,
Up there a home in heaven
Praise God, That's the way for me!!

This is quite the conundrum. On one hand the scriptures say that your husband should decide everything.
Ephesians 5:22-24 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
On the other hand, there are the scriptures that say you can leave your husband.

                  1 Corinthians 7:15
But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. Welcome to God's Favorite Forum(r), Mrs. Walters.
How many sons have you produced for Jesus?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

It's good that you're not a hellbound witch-whore anymore. Praise Jesus for shining His holy white-hot love into your previously black soul.

I bet you did some awful things when you were a Devil worshiper, like lesbian orgies and baby eating. You should tell us just how far gone you were, with lots of details. It's good to unburden yourself, especially about the orgy stuff you did.

Thanks you for the scriptural advice. I would never leave my husband, he is a good provider and taking care of him and the home keeps me out of trouble. I can't let my adventurous side to get the best of me again. I'll be staying right here cooking, cleaning and living a good virtuous life.

I have one son, almost 12 and my daughter is almost 19. I have home-schooled them for 6 years, but my daughter has it in her head she wants to attend art school/ college. I'm so at ends with her. I wish she would just find a good, decent young man and settle down. She has many skills, esp. good in our vegetable garden that she tends so well and painting.

I really don't like to talk about those days, so ashamed now. I haven't seen any of the coven for years, most have left the area. However we were into white magick, so we didn't eat any babies or anything, but we had a very loving sisterhood. We did love to dance around the fire in the woods for the solstice..... I can barely stand to think about it.
