    Hello Everyone

    Hi, my name is Lucas Ribeiro Saraiva, i´m 25 year old, been a christian all my life, my whole family is christian too.. My father is a pastor at a Presbiterian Church in Brazil, i live in Brazil, But have lived in EUA for 3 years as an exchange student, and learned English there. Im a good person, follow the bible the most i can, i play drums in a christian blues band with some other christian friends, I go to church every Sunday and Tuesday at a Baptist church here in my city. Im a law studant at UFG University, im happily married to my beloved wife for 1 year now, and i work as Sales manager for a food company.

    Ive entered this forum to learn and share some opinions from other christians in a different country.. And although ive seen some unpleasent racist threads, im not here to argue with anyone. And i wasnt very happy with some responses and a notification i had because of some of my answers in some threads.. Im sorry if it seemed disrespectuff for anyone, but its only a matter of opinion, i im not trying to force anyone in my own beliefs.. We follow the same God, and have the Relligion.. So please dont be disrespectful towards my answers, for its only a matter of opinion!

    I'm sorry you felt as if we were being mean or judgmental.

    I understand English is not your first language. What is your favorite Bible verse?
    Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

        Congratulations on your marriage. Do you and your wife have any children as yet?

        You certainly sound like you have a very full and happy life and I for one, when you are comfortable with your surroundings here, would enjoy hearing of the many ways Jesus inspires you on a daily basis.

          Hello Wintersnow, thank you for your response.. We are trying to have our first child, We even bought a bigger appartment with an extra room from the Baby, just waiting on God´s will to decide the right time. Jesus has always been in my life, and i am greatfull for all the wonderfull thing HE has done for me, i preach of his love to everyone i can.. And i have always been faithfull in church, for that God has always provided the best to my family and I!

              I have to admit, I know little to nothing about Brazil, except for where it is geographically. I am in Australia and it is a LONG way away!

              Does your wife bake? I am an avid baker and always on the look out for new pie recipes and with your permission of course, if she has any she would like to share, I would enjoy trying my hand at them.

                I'm sorry you have to live in Brazil. I've seen news stories about that country. I here it's all teenage drug gangs, constant soccer riots, pornos being shot all over the place, homosexuals and other perverts rampant with the AIDS, and that horrible Carnival thing where everyone gets so drunk they vomit in the streets and then someone robs and stabs them. Oh, and I guess here there are nude beaches all over the place. I couldn't live there for ten minutes!

                Once your truly Saved, you should consider moving to a good country like the USA.

                      I actually find it easier to talk to the Satanists. With the fuzzy bunny Christians, it's always 'we're using the Bible to promote hate' and ' we don't understand HOW to read the Bible'.

                      It's sad really. I'm not sure how to shake them out of their delusions of what God really is.

                        You've got a point there BIG. At least open Satanists are honest about what they are. Presbyterians are just Satanists in disguise.
