Hello, everyone, I am Angelique. I am a 20 year old girl living in the UK. I am unmarried, and have lived a life of sin for so long, I have almost given up on the thought of God existing. But one day, I was so stressed, so I went for a walk in the valley. I was on the edge of a cliff, and the sun shining through the branches of the trees... it was so beautiful, I knew there had to be more to it than some stupid science crap. I have picked up a KJV1611 Bible, and have read it through, word for word, three times. Is this the right version? I am doing all the things the Bible says I should - is there more I can do?? I want to accept Jesus as my Savior, and will do whatever it takes!

Indeed it is. You are doing very well!Originally posted by Angelique View PostI have picked up a KJV1611 Bible, and have read it through, word for word, three times. Is this the right version?
You mentioned having lived a life of sin; have you confessed your sins to another Christian yet? I am not talking about using a Catholic confessional booth, inhabited by a creepy cross-dresser -- Heaven forbid! -- but our Pastors encourage young ladies to confess fully, in as much detail as possible, every drunken pre-marital fumble, every drunken stumble into the gutter which resulted in the exposure of one's skimpy underwear. Are you willing to do this?I am doing all the things the Bible says I should - is there more I can do?? I want to accept Jesus as my Savior, and will do whatever it takes!
Oh, and confess your sins to JESUS also. Put that on your to-do list.True Christians are Perfect!
Signs that you belong to a FALSE Christian Church.
Persecution You Have Endured for CHRIST: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger in Christ.
For True Christians™ only: please send me Project Habakkuk updates at gertruderogers@landoverbaptist.net. Thank you.

Re: A Plead for Help
Amen, Sister Gertrude. As it is written in James 5:16,
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
It's nothing he haven't heard before, young lady.Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Re: A Plead for Help
Thank you for your advice, ma'am, but I talk to a local Pastor everyday after school (I'm in college) and pray every night for an hour, and confess my sins during both. I appreciate you all taking the time to help me, it means so much to me...Originally posted by Mrs. Rogers View PostIndeed it is. You are doing very well!

I don't know... I was a very, um.... strange child. I pierced my own ear with a safety pin at the age of 10. Well, actually, I had four.Originally posted by Levi Jones View PostAmen, Sister Gertrude. As it is written in James 5:16,
