Hmmm, I don't understand why you say that. There are 2 possibilities: either you are in fact an atheist like myself that is assuming a satyrical role, as everyone knows, and find my explanation poor and misleading (if this is the case, I'm sorry, I kept it simple and didn't worry much about the scientific details. I might even have said something wrong, but since I assumed I was talking to an ignorant Bible worshipper, I didn't worry much about getting my facts completely straight.) and criticized me in a discrete way, so that you wouldn't ruin your cover, or you are simply an ignorant Christian who dismisses anything scientific as an offense to Jesus. I am somewhat more inclined to the first, though.

Hell, as the Bible teaches, is located below the surface of the Earth. Its heat comes from the magma that exists below the Earth's crust. The heat comes from geothermical energy.

You need look no further than Brother V's Bible in a year Pastor Peter's Things that the Bible doesn't say, I highly recommend Dr. D's the 10 commandments and their punishments. True Disciple's dissertation on population displacement is highly enlightening. Billy Bob Black's series of the Greatest Smitings of the Bible is great stuff too.

Jesus was buried, as is customary to do with dead bodies, for 3 days and 3 nights.

As for the passage you quoted from Numbers, God did not send their houses and other possessions into "hell." The earth opened up and swallowed everything, causing the people to die and their memory to be wiped from the face of the earth (except for what the Bible tells us about them). Their souls were sent to hell.

When a person dies, the physical body stays here in this physical world. The soul never dies. It will either spend eternity with God in heaven, or burn forever in the lake of fire with Satan.

Where will your soul spend eternity, atheist?

Because we cannot say something is bad until we read it. When I heard about Twilight, I read it, and was able to conclude it was a huge pile of trash. If I had not read it, I would be in no position to say it is the worst thing that ever happened to literature. If I claimed such things without my own experience, I would be just blurting out what I heard from others.

The heart of the earth is within it, not UNDER it because if it were UNDER it the earth would be standing on it.

and 2) I have been to many a BBQ where a pit has been made but it was part of the earth and as part OF earth, easily closed up again just by shoveling dirt back in. They are WITHIN the earth, not UNDER it

I suppose you are one of these round earther's who think they have just fallen off as well.
