A digital church is my kind of church

Greetings, fellow internet users. You can call me Digital Chaos (or whatever nickname you see fit). I'm glad to see a church that uses the internet for something more than the occasional video sermons.
I've found it difficult to sit through a sermon at a brick-and-mortar church without wondering about my email and such. I guess you can say that I'm addicted to the World Wide Web, considering that I feel much more comfortable on the internet than I do in "reality".
I sincerely hope to make wonderful friends here.

Please tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

      Mr Chaos,

      Hello.

Well, you are off to a nice start, as at least you had the common courtesy and decorum to do the right thing and make your first post in the Introduction Forum. However, as Pastor Ezekiel suggested we do need to know a little more about you.

Certainly it can be quite the toil sitting and listening to a sleep inducing FALSE teaching! Many Pastor's Reverends and of course those Papist scum priests are constantly putting their own interpretation and spin on The Lord's Holy Word! So many times before in my life I have heard that nauseating "What God really means is..." Who is ANYONE to interpret our Lord Jesus Christ! It is blasphemy and false worship to the enth degree!

God does not like it when people manipulate his Word and negate the trust in God Himself!

      Isaiah 26:3

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

I think you will be pleased to know that here at God's Favorite Forum, you will get none of that rot here! We live and breathe The KJV1611 to the letter and our Pastors and Reverends never stray from God's perfection. It is important for people to realize that for God to truly show us love, always for our greater good, He must be cruel in his Kindness.

I look forward to future interactions with you Mr Chaos.

      YIC,

      Mrs.P.Wintersnow

      There's Jesus here,

      Down here my sins forgiven,
Up there a home in heaven
Praise God, That's the way for me!!

Re: A digital church is my kind of church

        Hello Digital Chaos.

I'm sympathetic. I think it's probably always best to go to a bricks-and-mortar Baptist Church where you can - the opportunity to meet and mix with fellow True Christians ™, to join with them in praising the Lord, and the prayer meetings, bible study (and pie) afterwards - are all important. For young men, the chance to meet a young Christian woman and, if you're particularly lucky, the chance to sample her pie before things get serious, shouldn't be underestimated.

But if you can't attend a real Church for a number of reasons, then this is probably the second best thing.

        Just remember to tithe, though.

Re: A digital church is my kind of church

          Welcome, friend.

Our Godly Forums aren't intended as a replacement for Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday services. This is where we fellowship and exhort one another in righteousness when we are not working or at church. The importance of regular church attendance cannot be understated, and I exhort you to find an Independent Baptist Church near to where you live that preaches all of God's Word (KJV 1611) and doesn't just cherry-pick the nice, pleasant parts that give unsaved trash the false impression there is nothing wrong with how they are living their lives. Biblical Truth can be a hard pill to swallow for many, but the Heavenly rewards more than justify living one's life in accordance with Holy Doctrine.

I sincerely hope that we may help give you strength as you seek Salvation(tm). God brought you here for a reason.

          II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Shocking!! How can you spend two or three hours at church three or four times a week and NOT spend all that time focused on the Lord our God??

What about when you are shut in your prayer closet? Do you think about emails then?

You have a very serious problem DC. You really do need to repent of it.

1 Corinthians 7:35 (King James Version)
35 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
            2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.
