    Hello to all

I just wanted to say hello to everyone here. I'm a newbie to the forums but I am indeed saved and well-versed in the 5 points of Calvinism. Yes, I love them TULIPs.

I own several copies of the blessed KJV, all about to fall apart at the spine from my poring over them. Over the years, I've collected other versions of the Bible. Most were given to me as gifts, clearly by Satan's envoys trying to lead me astray. I'm happy to report they are all in pristine condition, gathering dust in the back of a closet...and, no, it's not my prayer closet.

Sadly, I am not attending a local, independent, fundamentalist, premillennial, dispensationalist Baptist church at the moment. I just can't find one that is, oh, how do I say it?, enthusiastic enough for me.

Let's all pray for some warm-hearted Godly fellowship.

Praise and welcome aboard! I trust you're arranging your first tithe as we speak?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Praise, it's good to have a new future BIC (brother in Christ).

If you are in Durham NC, have you tried Fellowship Baptist Church?

They seem to be a good church, but, I listening to their sermons online, I can see that they aren't very enthusiastic. I've listened for a minute and haven't, heard anyone say AMEN!

OMGoodness, the first verse read in the 9/23 sermon was John 3:16, what kind of feel good church is this???

You are right to stay away from it!!!

      Welcome future BIC

Praise Jesus, you seem like a fine upstanding Christian. What a breath of fresh air to have someone of your obvious caliber visiting our Godly forum. We are so often infested with goths, perverts and mary worshipers, all of whom seek to force satan's agenda on us.

          Jesus always wins.

Can you share some of your favorite scripture with us?

            Re: Hello to all

            Welcome Brother!

I wish you all the luck in the world finding a good Christian church in Durham, because you'll need it. Durham, Wake, and Orange counties form the unsightly blue stain in our otherwise red great state of North Carolina.

I'm the head pastor of a small church in Libertydale, NC, about five hours west of you. I make it down to Franklin Street in Chapel Hill from time to time to do some street preaching.

I praise God that you have found this forum, because you are among like-minded believers here. Why don't you bless us with your testimony, and let us know how you became saved?

            Pastor Billy-Reuben
Upon request I will cite scripture for all these facts in God's Holy Word.

✝ This is a Christian community and we worship GOD of the Holy bible, the only Living GOD. We worship Jesus Christ, Son of GOD and Savior. Anything else is absurd. ✝

              Friend,

Welcome to our forum, you sound like the most fair balance Christian.

Combing your name with your location it sounds like you are in Durham, California. While that is in one of the more less salvageable parts of that horror story of a state Durham is perilously close to that hell hole the San Fransissyco Bay Area. Is this true and have you considered to relocating to a more Christian part of that state, Bakersfield?

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.
