You have failed to convince me that I have used a "nickname" for our Lord God, especially when the second chapter of the very first book in the bible instructs me to call Him that. Therefore because I can not be bothered with circular argument I suggest we agree to disagree.

As I have already pointed out when his name was removed from your book and replaced with a nickname, but as you say we could go round in round with this argument and it would become very tiresome for others, and I am pleased to see that unlike one of your sisters you do not want us to descend into what 1 Edd:13 warns us against.

The Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the only religion based on empirical evidence, far from being a made up religion based on a collection of fairy tales there is evidence through out the ages, from all over the world of Him making his Noodly presence known to His creation. The ancient Greek depicted him as did the native people of South America just as a couple of examples.

God is a generic term for a deity and not the name of that deity

No - "god" is a generic term for made-up deities, like meatball demons. "God" is the term for the One True God, Creator of Heaven and Earth. And Hell. Remember that last well, Noodle Boy - you're going to need it soon.
