It seems to me you need a new wife. Can't your Pastor arrange one for you?

No one could ever replace Sarah, Mr Cranky.

I did advertise for a live in nanny for the boys tho and got abysmal replies. Freeloaders that just wanted a roof over their head, three feeds a day and a small wage to do their own thing.

I might be too picky Mr Cranky but my boys come first. It must be a Godly female who will home school the boys and teach them God's Holy word. I do not mind if it is a solo mum as long as her morals and beliefs reflect mine. My house is big enough for her and any of her children as well as myself and my boys. Of course she would have her own bedroom and bathroom.

Do you know anyone in Sydney that might fit this kind of criteria?

I understand that, but you should not be doing the work of a woman.

I think Sister Charli, a decent True Christian(tm) lady, lives in your neighborhood. I do not (yet) know if you would be good enough for her though...

I asked the DoF to make you a forum member, so you now no longer have to wait 300 seconds between postings.

Brother Cranky. I would do anything for my boys. I live for them and them alone. OK. Jesus first. Then my little soldiers of God. I know child rearing is woman's work and my dear Sarah was the best wife and mother. It took us almost 8 years of trying before little John came along.

Oh dear Lord no. I saw she lost her father only today in a terrible accident. Please do not put any ideas in her head. I know it took me many weeks before I could think clearly after I lost Sarah. I was a certifiable nut case for a while there.

I have yet to meet the member DoF but I thank him for this concession. And you too Mr Cranky for asking Mr DoF on my behalf.

Why is that? When my own father died I was happy for him because he is with Jesus in Heaven now.

As was I when Sarah went to be with Jesus. And every night when I tuck the boys in I tell them that Mummy is with Jesus looking over them.

But even that knowledge did not alleviate the emptiness I felt. Something BIG was missing in my life. Me lovely wife was in Heaven and watching upon us but I slept alone and that other side of the bed was empty.

It is tough being a Mister Mum but I will not just leave my boys with anyone.

I have only just seen this thread.

Welcome to Landover Baptist Church Mr Luke.

I am so sorry you lost your dear wife.

I do not know what else to say as I am in a daze right now.

They gave me valium at the hospital. Lots of it. maybe toooo much.

But it is nice to have another Ozzie here.
                2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.

                  Re: Disciple Luke here

Thank you for you condolences Sister Charli. But I know too that you are grieving.

Take your time. You said that you recited Psalm 23 as your father passed from his earthly life . May that comfort you in your time of grief.

                  Psalm 23

1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
