Re: Intro
Indeed you do! I need you to solve this for me. I bow to your superior understanding of the Word, since you have a better knowledge of it than I do.
Going back to 1 Timothy 2
8I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
And then there is
Matthew 6
5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Which one is it, oh great prophet?
But Paul says a woman will be saved through childbirth. Jesus says there will come a day when she will be blessed by not having children.
It seems like a bit of an either or to me. Of course, I leave it to your greater wisdom, sir.
Are you implying that there could be more than one interpretation of God's Holy word? It couldn't possibly contradict itself, could it? It's all about the interpretation, yes?
All I know is that I am going to rely on you to solve any more questions I have about the Bible, teacher.
