After fourteen years of being groomed into Christianity, due to my parents decision, I have finally seen the light. How, after all these years where science has prevailed over religion, can people still believe that an omnipotent being that pulled a universe out of nowhere because he was lonely.

Religion is simply a human-created entity, made to justify rules and legislation. And why would he create so many other planets, and only use one for life? Why are the other planets there. Are they part of God's "master plan"? Religion must have been created by people, because any "God" would have not left holes in his plans.

Many religions (including atheism) are indeed "human-created". But not Bible-based Christianity. Strike two.

God created the stars and planets for several reasons. Most importantly as a mathematical reference in Scripture. Strike three.

What makes you think science has "prevailed" over religion?

What explanation does science offer for so-called natural processes pulling a universe out of "nowhere"?

Why would God create all these other planets, you ask? Do you require a personal answer from Him in order to believe? Well, I'm sorry, it doesn't work that way. (God may have created the planets to show us, the only living sentient creatures, how special we are in His universe). The point is God knows what you need before you ask for it. If He thinks you need an answer to this question, He will provide it. In the meantime, you are required to have faith.

Please describe the precise method a nuclear reactor works. I mean, down to describing each, individual step from processing fissionable materials to your flipping on a light switch at Three Mile Island. You can't do it, can you? I guess that means nuclear power plants can't exist, right?. And yet they do in spite of your ignorance. Apply this example to your star question, and then see how arrogant and ignorant it sounds.

No. Does anyone? Most likely not. But coming up with answers without proof is not the answer. Discovering the answer, is the answer. Relying with one answer, however right it may seem to you, is ignorant. People should look into other people's answers, and see something else for themselves.
