How can you state that you're a "true soldier of Christ", when you reject half of what's in the Bible here?

        Hello Almost7

I thank you for at least apologizing for some of your less than pleasant posts.

It is obvious that you, with your Bible interests and understandings, are coming from a place of false information.

I for one would be happy to help you on your journey to enlightenment and reveal to you all that the KJV1611 has to offer.

You do realize don't you that being a Christian means a lot more than attending Church services on Sundays. To be one with God is to live with Him in your heart and mind EVERY minute of EVERY day. Bible Study is pinnacle.

Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, but please remember to keep a civil tongue in your head.

        YIC

        Mrs Phebe Dewitt.

        There's Jesus here,
Just see what He offers me....
        Down here my sins forgiven,
Up there a home in heaven
Praise God, That's the way for me!!

I'm truly glad that you have found your way to Jesus Christ and said goodbye to your sinful "free" thinking.

I hope you understand how important it is to accept every word the LORD says, if you want to live your life as a True Christian™.

Please tell us a little more about yourself.

            What church do you attend?

            How old are you?

Do you have any little soldiers of Christ?

Do you have any favourite verse from the Holy Book you would like to share with us?

I suggest you read Romans 5 in its entirety and it will show you that only those RIGHT with God through Jesus, are atoned from sin and loved.

Please, I implore you to stop making out like The Bible is like a smorgasboard, where you can pick and choose the bits you want to digest and disregard the bits that are not so palatable to you!

You are doing yourself no favors by rejecting MUCH of the Word of God.

                    Romans 5:6-8 (King James Version)

6For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

i think that is a lot of the passage...but if i am wrong please correct and/or help me!!

                      Romans 5:1-21

1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

                      3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

13 For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

The gift is there for all Almos7, however not too many even take the time to bother opening the wrapper, or recognize it is there!

How many people are walking around; like atheists and mooslims and hindu's etc, who don't have any faith in Jesus whatsoever? There are BILLIONS who turn their back on God and spit in His eye.

What is the point of FAITH and being RIGHT with God if you think even the most debauched sinner is just going to be OK regardless of what they do?

I have no qualms with God loving us, because God IS Love ( 1 John 4) but there is some expectation on His part, which is only fair, don't you think?

There is also this that speaks volumes and shows that one HAS to be right with God by obeying His word.

1 John 2:5 But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him:

1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

I hope that has begun to make things clearer for you.
