Actually, to clarify, deviantart itself isn't a gay website. It's mainly focused on displaying artwork and poetry, and there are chatrooms where the members can discuss common interests, including movies, music, and art. It's a social networking site of sorts.

and I don't wear high heels or lipstick. If you're going to insult me, i'm not going to even bother sticking around. I was planning on reading what you all had to say and eventually coming to my own conclusions about what I believe, in terms of religion, however it just seems to me you're hell-bent on insulting me, for no reason, when despite the insults I've tried to at least treat you with respect as human beings.

I would be interested in knowing more about you. May I ask why you don't have Jesus in your life? I note you said you were currently studying the New Testament. In what way? Obviously as you are not religious, it must not be at Bible College. So where?

As I had indicated, my parents aren't religious and Jesus, or any religion was never a part of my upbringing. I'm in a class called "Literature of the New Testament" because I attend a private religiously affiliated (although only like 20% claim to be religious) college, and it's required that you take two religion courses. One of the Christian faith, and one of a non-Western religion, such as Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Daoism, etc

That is interesting that a Religious College would promote false religions, such as those chink philosophies and animism. Are you studying with the KJV1611? It is the ONLY True Word of God. I also wonder why the Old Testament is not part of your study plan. I am at a loss at just what these secular schools (propped as religious) are teaching kids these days.

That was not an affront at you personally BTW as I know it is not your doing as to what is put in front of you to learn from.

Have you thought of reading the Bible in your OWN time?

It is the only way to start appreciating just what God has planned.

I have a New Oxford Annotated Bible, and

and the school I attend is a private liberal arts college, which may (or may not) shed light on your concerns/issues with the curriculum. They don't teach the scriptures themselves in the other classes. They're more historical accounts of how each of the eastern religions emerged, and the one on Buddhism focuses on its role in America, while the Islam class doesn't come to current day. (There's a separate class for that too)
